Fun in the Sun

We loved the proximity to the beach and the pools, easy to navigate after flying in from Minnesota. Galveston is a very interesting and beautiful place.

Fabulous Retreat

Perfect location! After enjoying a day on the beach or on the Strand it was great to relax on the balcony and hear the waves crashing on the Gulf. Great amenities and very clean, would definitely stay here again!

Great Stay!

The condo had everything we could have possibly needed. It was nice to have a cooler and chairs for the beach. The balcony has a good view and we were just steps from the beach. The location is centralized so we were a short walk or quick drive from everything we needed. We only used one of the pools, but it was perfect for the kiddos with the shallow parts and plenty big for everyone there!

Great location/ secure and comfortable stay

The location near the seawall was great. The property is very well maintained and the staff in the office very helpful. The condo was exactly what was needed and very clean. Nice little balcony to view the gulf. Gated facilities and parking that is secure. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone interested in visiting Galveston. If we return we will definitely stay here. Thanks to all.

Perfect Getaway Condo!

Driftwood Dreams was the perfect condo for my husband and me. The complex is very nice & maintained well, & right across from the beach. The actual condo was super nice and very clean w/all the amenities one would need. They even supplied beach towel, chairs & toys for use. Super easy access w/clear instructions & the hosts had excellent communication. Will definitely stay here again, or at any of their other rentals! Definitely 5 stars plus!!

Beach was directly across the street… use crosswalk! Far enough from pier to be quiet at night. Close enough to everything to get there quick and have fun. Watch the sunset from the balcony. Not a fan of the shower.

It was so easy to book; pictures and details online matches the condo perfectly. We received all the information we needed, which made the check in and check out so easy and also easy to get into condo. Owners checked in with us after checking in to check on everything for us! Very good location; view was great! So many extras were provided in the condo! Good value!

6 Great das at Galveston Island

We had a very nice stay in Galveston. Our apartment was superb. Check-in was perfectly prepared. We received our access codes in advance, well-described and on time. The apartment matched exactly the pictures and description. We had fresh towels, the beds were made, and the apartment was very clean. Dish soap and dishwasher tabs were provided. We enjoyed the pools and the gym. The location of the apartment is right by the beach and invites for spontaneous walks. We were highly satisfied, and all in all, the apartment is worth a 5-star rating.

We were upgraded to a 2BR when th air conditioner failed in the first unit (prior to our arrival). Property owners provided good communications, with plenty of detail. We needed to get a parking pass from Dawn Condominiums management office. We were lucky enough to catch the office person on their way out. No complaints or complications. We ate takeout free Mel's Blue Plate dinner (it's counter in the gas station a couple blocks away. Highly recommend going there for shrimp and onion rings.

Family Beach Weekend

Great location! On the Seawall close to restaurants and activities. We loved Magic Carpet Putt Putt! The complex pool is nice with hot tub and beach shower. Great for a family vacation.
