Mother Daughter Mothers Day Vacation
As an only child and having no children of my own, Mother's Day only appied to my 72 year old mother. She has cancer for the 3rd time and i wanted to make her day special and make some memories for me jist in case it was our last one. Also, this year, 2025, hers and my dads wedding anniversary hit on Mothers day, the 1st one since hes passed, so I knew this was gonna be a happy and sad time for her. Daddy always took mom to Galveston at least twice a year for 25 years that i remember. So I surprised her with this teip. She loves the beach . I told her to pack for the beach and we left. I told Jeff, the property owner what I was doing and he made a way for an ectra day for a very small price. We both had a ball that 9 days. I took her several places daddy did and we stayed a few new traditions of our own. Even after spending 2 days in the room sick, Jeff offered us yet another day at an even lower rate. I was so impressed at his generosity and care. The room was perfect for her. Easy access and accommodations and the beach, i think, was her best theraphy. It was so good, my husband and I are returning in November for our anniversary and staying in this same unit. I spoke with Jeff and asked if we could use him as one of our personal hosts as we travel a lot with my business, and he agreed. I am looking forward to using his properties in the future, whether for business or play. I know we're in good hands.
