Sorority sister 40 year reunion

Great Family Getaway

The condo was super clean and the view was excellent! My family really enjoyed the pools and the quick walk to the beach. This would definitely be a condo my family would stay at again!

Getaway stay

All aspects were as advertised or better! We scoured location for future trip with Grandkids and found everything we hoped for. Quiet and secluded area. Great for being away from the Seawall bars and restraints. Can still get there when we want to. Plenty of amenities and the sunrise view was magic.

Great Stay

Had a great stay at this condo, had everything we needed, nicely decorated and comfortable. Nice views of the beach and surrounding area. A little too windy to take advantage of the nice balcony but that's the chance you take in the spring.

Great Location and amenities, clean, responsive host!

Great location-Ocean Front. Many condos are described as Ocean Front but "License 2 Chill" had the BEST VIEW. Family enjoyed the amenities at Pointe West - POOL, HOT TUB and GYM. The condo was very CLEAN and the host was very RESPONSIVE to our questions. We will book again.

We love Pointe West!

This is such a great location to vacation. The beach is beautiful and clean. The condo is spacious and accommodating for our 2 families, 3 kiddos and one infant. It is the furthest walk to the pool which we didn’t like as much and the walkways to the beach didn’t have ramps for our beach carts and strollers but it was still doable and totally worth it anyway!

Great beach rental

I have stayed at this property several years ago. I love the new updates!!! Furniture is so nice and comfortable, new paint, new bedding, lots of extras in the kitchen. I stay at Pointe West every summer and have been in many of the rentals. This one is definitely at the top of the list 🥰

Overall Good

The decor is stylish and comfortable. There were some basic supplies that were lacking though - 4 wine glasses, 1 roll of paper towels, 2 rolls of toliet paper and 6 towels for a 3 bedroom condo that sleeps 8 is just insufficient.

Phenomenal view and location

This was an absolute pleasure. We had a blast and truly were able to relax and enjoy our time on the beach. The hosts were great and very responsive. My only note is that the elevator was down for 2 days. I had elderly family members that were limited in what we could do. But otherwise, this was a fantastic stay!

Enjoyable

Our stay was about being with old friends so all was perfect. We always love to watch movies, so we delighted with the selection of DVD’s available. BUT the DVD player had a DVD stuck in it and would not work. It needs to be replaced. Also some tiny flying bug was always around in kitchen area. Perhaps extermination is necessary.

Great stay!

We went on vacation for the first time with friends. We both have small children, 3 total ages 4 & 3. The condo was great. A really great location, a fabulous balcony, and the perfect size. The fact that it had 2 king bedrooms was a huge plus so both sets of parents had a king bed. One thing to mention is that they do NOT have a Keurig, even though the email mentions bringing your own coffee or K-cups. We had to go buy coffee since we only brought K-cups. The elevators worked until the power went out the evening of the last day due to a transformer blowing - not something controllable.

Nice but not perfect

We started at the License 2 Chill condo this past weekend. We have been coming to this condo every October for the past 3 years now. We LOVE the location and the spot on the end. This trip the condo was not completely clean. There were small spider webs on the baseboards in the kitchen, crumbs as well. We found a half eaten cookie in one of the drawers. There was a hair in the bed and the white bath towels were dingy and stained (they seemed as though they hadn't been replaced in years). The door leading to the porch would not close unless you locked it from the inside. There were scuff marks along the baseboards and on some of the walls. Overall it wasn't horrible, but we noticed a decline in the level of cleanliness from the years past. I would say it moved form a 5 star to a 3. I think the unit could use a deep clean, some touch-ups and extra TLC. We would love to come back if the issues mentioned above were addressed. It could easily be improved back to a 5 star.

Amenities were disappointing.

The property was fine. Clean and as pictured. The location is beautiful but far away from everything. Don’t plan on using door dash or anything like that. Walmart is 27 mins away so as long as you plan for that and to cook all your meals, you will be fine. The resort has no marketplace or open restaurants. You pay $25 per person to use the amenities such as the pool, game room and fitness center but the pool was closed down 3 out of 4 days of our stay with no water. Use of the game room should be included but it’s an additional $5 to use each time. ($25 cc payment with $20 refund after returning equipment.) The elevators were not working so we had to carry our luggage and everything up and down the stairs. It was jelly fish season so we could not enjoy the beach. This should have been addressed prior as it happens every year but coming from Georgia, we were not aware. The Man O war jellyfish were beautiful to look at, but they are dangerous. Over all the property was fine but I would have like to know about these issues prior to booking and I would like a refund on the amenities charge since we were not able to use those either for more than 4 hours.

Great Family Beach Getaway

We had a great time staying at "License 2 Chill." Property is clean, well-appointed, and has amazing unobstructed views of water. Location is close to beach walkover and basketball court. We enjoyed the amenities that Pointe West has to offer, including both pools and gift shop. Would definitely return to this property again in the future.

Wonderful beach condo

The property looks just like the pictures. It was stunning. We bought food because the reviews said that it wasn’t near any restaurants and this was accurate which didn’t bother us because it was so peaceful. We were a little disappointed to find out the bar and restaurant didn’t open till a week after we left. Nowhere did it say this till after we booked. This is the only reason we didn’t leave 5 stars. Other then that we loved it.
