Blue Jewel, located about 7 miles west of the Seawall, is a true gem. Your friends and family will love this cute as a button beach house and find it to be warm and relaxing with views of beautiful and peaceful Bermuda beach from the kitchen, living and both primary bedrooms. The bunk room enjoys sunset views. There are newly installed glass storm doors that can be lowered and serve as screen doors so you can see and hear the beach waves. You can enjoy relaxing, watch streaming TV or provided DVDs/blue rays with the family, either in front of the charming electric fireplace in the living room or in any bedroom. Meals can be prepared in the well-stocked kitchen and shared on the kitchen island (seating for 5), living room fold out dining table (up to 8), or on the outdoor picnic table overlooking the beach.
Comfort is king (literally) at Blue Jewel, as the two primary bedrooms, one upstairs and one downstairs (accessed only through exterior private entrance) both have comfy King beds. Each room has ensuite bathrooms with large step-in showers. The lower-level primary bedroom has its own minifridge and Keurig, as well as lovely beach views. There is a great room for kiddos upstairs with a twin-over-full bed and a pull-out twin trundle (can sleep 4 young children or 3 adults). Next to bunkroom is a 3rd bathroom with tub/shower combo and washer/dryer for guest use. If you still need another spot for guests to sleep, there is a queen sofa sleeper in the living room.
The closeness to the beach is one of our favorite things about Blue Jewel. Not only can you see and hear this clean, quiet and uncrowded family-friendly beach from almost every location in the house, but it's a short stroll away. Watching sunrise on this beach is breathtaking and worth the early wake-up time. Be sure to take advantage of the owner provided beach wagon, chairs & sand toys in the locked room downstairs.
And finally, if you actually want to leave and enjoy some off-beach time we are only about a 7-minute drive to the Sea Wall and about 15 minutes from the Strand and the Harbor to enjoy all the fun things Galveston offers. We know after staying at our Blue Jewel, you will enjoy it as much as we do and be counting down to your return trip!

Vendors have access to the homes on their scheduled day. Service days have the possibility of changing.
Service days have the possibility of changing and do occur up to two times a week.
A laundry bag will be dropped off 1-2 days prior to departure. No need to worry, please leave it where it has been placed.
This rental property is not used for Nuisance Parties or Unlawful Gatherings. 6 adult maximum plus their dependent children are allowed at the property.
For your safety and security, there may be public-facing cameras installed on the property.
Unauthorized late check-out will incur a penalty of $150 + tax
Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and may incur additional fees. Please reach out 1–2 days prior to check-in to inquire about pricing and availability.

Please note: Upon booking, guests are required to complete a rental agreement, which will be sent via a secure link. Check-in instructions will only be provided after the agreement is completed.

Please note our policy for items left behind:
We are happy to help return items left behind; however, due to logistics and the time required for our team to retrieve and drop off packages, a $25 handling fee plus the cost of shipping will be applied to any items sent back.
We'd much rather you have your belongings with you! Thank you for doing a final "sweep" of the home before you depart.

We do our best to ensure guests have a 5-star experience. Guests will be provided with a start-up supply of household items such as laundry soap, dish soap, paper towels, toilet paper, etc so that upon check-in you do not need to run to the store. We do not provide salt, pepper, oils, and spices. If you are staying longer than a few days you will need to purchase these items. Thank you!

May an amenity not work or fail during your stay we will do our best to make it right, and we can refund up to 10% of the affected nights to make it right.
