Perfectly placed for soaking up some endless escapism, this flexible balcony apartment sets the scene from which families can unwind and make the most of northern Lake Maggiore.

This rental also has central heating.

Outside the 2-storey residence features a lakeside garden, perfect for summertime relaxation, whilst a private parking space offers welcome convenience. The vibrant resort centre of Locarno is reachable by car within 18 minutes, whilst Monte Tamaro Adventure Park is 33 minutes’ drive away.

Situated in Vira Gambarogno, along the main road ‘Via Cantonale’, the residence places guests 9 minutes’ drive from Locarno airport and 18-21 minutes’ drive from Locarno, Ascona and Lido di Locarno.

The popular year-round resort town of Locarno boasts a train station, ferry stop and a plethora of eateries and shops to complement a self-catering stay. Locarno is also home to a lido, casino, falconry centre, the ‘Ghisla Art’ collection, a scenic funicular and a host of unique heritage attractions, including Palazzo Franzoni, Palazzo Morettini and Castello Visconteo. Families and active guests looking to enjoy a fun action-packed day are 33 minutes’ drive away from the Monte Tamaro Adventure Park.

great spot on the lake

Good communication with Christian @ happy home rentals, a large apartment, a 2 seater couch was a shame but ok. we missed ventilators / airco so with 30+ degrees was very uncomfortable in the evenings. Kitchen with fridge / freezer was great. Coffee machine was also good. Beds were comfy and plenty of space for all luggage 👍

Radfahren am Lago Maggiore

Guter Startpunkt für Radtouren rund um den Lago Maggiore. Kommunikation unkompliziert über WhatsApp. Geräumige und saubere Wohnung mit wunderschönem Blick über Lago. Etwas wenig Küchenausrüstung (zum Beispiel kein Schneidebrett oder Müslischüssel …). WLAN nur gegen Aufpreis von 5 Franken am Tag nicht zeitgemäß.

Ganz tolle Wohnung - super Lage. Einziger Wermutstropfen war der Zug, der nachts häufiger unterwegs war. Wir können die Wohnung trotzdem weiterempfehlen. MfG Peter Besmens

Wohnung sehr schön und sauber, Service nicht ok

Fernseher, Wlan wurden laut Beschreibung versprochen, funktionierten aber nicht. Auf dem CheckIn Blatt standen drei Nummern, die laut Angaben jeder Zeit erreichbar sein sollten. Wir wurden erst nach drei Tagen via SMS zurück kontaktiert. Die Antwort war verständnislos und keine Hilfe. Des weiteren war die Küche schlecht ausgestattet (nicht mal ein Nudelsieb!) und mehrere Geräte auch defekt. Die Wohnung ist aber sehr schön, vor allem sauber und die Lage gut. Sehr laute Nachbarn! Aber das steht auch in der Beschreibung.
