“I stayed at the Senegambia Beach Hotel while visiting The Gambia to marry my wife, who is Gambian. This hotel became part of a very special chapter in our lives, and we had a wonderful experience. The location is excellent, right in the heart of the Senegambia area with easy access to restaurants, shops, entertainment, and the beach. The hotel grounds are beautiful, with tropical gardens, birds, and monkeys that create a unique atmosphere. We especially enjoyed the beachfront setting and the……

“The staff was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was healthy with all of the food that I was used to. Cleaners came to my room every morning to ask about cleaning my room and to help with washing my dirty clothes for a few pounds. The beach is about five minutes walk from the property and the beach is very clean. The resort pool is very clean and well spaced out, with children pool on one side and the adults on the other side separated by a bridge that leads to the bar. The way the huts are……

“At times when you go down at the restaurant for dinner my choices of food are not there. Rooms are clean Staff are excellent Bar: limited choice Metzy hotel is business friendly ”

“The rooms are clean, but the swimming pool may be the dirtyest in the Gambia. Beds are comfortable Location is very good, directly at the beautiful Kotu Beach. We didn't try the hotel restaurant or beach bar this year, due to bleak experiences last year. Service at the hotel is ok, but many of the employees seem to not like their jobs very much. Nobody are hostile, but they are not very eager either. We may choose the same hotel again, but probably not. ”

“Rigtig søde. Hjalp når der var brug for det. 24 timers reception. God mad i restauranten. Morgenmaden kunne vælges fra a´la carte kortet. Der var rigeligt at vælge imellem. roomservice. værelset trængte til en lille opgradering, men det var rent. De er ikke så hurtige til at komme med maden. ”

“We had one of the rooms on the beach, which was the most amazing location. 30 metres from the waters edge, so to go to sleep to the sound of Atlantic waves was amazing. Comfy bed, we slept 8-10 hours per night. Also had a pool, shared with our neighbours. Food was ok, the Strip was a 15 minute walk away. Did a one say Safari to Senegal which was AMAZING.”
