Wonderful hosts, delicious chef prepared breakfast, lovely accommodation, lots of interesting musical instruments, books, artwork etc. very easy to get to town 2 minute walk but ina very quiet area perfect.

We had a wonderful 2 night stay at Pangea House. The bed was comfortable, bathroom was newly renovated and the breakfast served was a wonderful way to start the day. We got a good recommendation for a restaurant from Jeff, the owner, as well other ideas of things to do. Would definitely recommend Pangea House if ever in the area.

The property was well kept and clean.. the proprietors were both very friendly and helpful… breakfast was amazing… only issue was it was a very warm night and room was a bit on the warm side… a ceiling fan or something to circulate the air would have been appreciated.

Small hotel in a Victorian home. Very quaint with lovely common spaces. The property is kept very clean, including the room, and the owners are very accommodating and are knowledgeable about local restaurants and attractions. A gourmet breakfast was served, excellent food.

We stayed here for two nights in August 2026, and it was a great choice! The location is really convenient, everything in the town is walkable. The hosts Geoff and Jody are excellent, very friendly, personable, and knowledgeable about activities to do in the area. The home is beautiful, lots of common space inside and out and the room itself was clean and nicely decorated. We had access to a little fridge and coffee station which was great. My favourite part was the breakfast! Both mornings we were served delicious breakfast in the dining room! Seriously 5 star breakfasts with coffee and fruit. Highly recommend!!

Pangea House is lovely and very centrally located. The owners are very welcoming and the house is decorated beautifully yet is very comfortable. Our room was great and the breakfast was exceptional. We really appreciated Geoff’s flexibility. We particularly enjoyed being able to play Scrabble by the fire. Highly recommend.

We had an amazing and relaxed time during our stay. The house is decorated with such detail, creating a wonderful, whimsical vibe. The breakfast was delicious and completely exceeded our expectations! The hosts, Jody and Geoff, have created a place filled with lots of character and love.

Lovely property and setting. Very welcoming host. Very nice breakfast. Only shotfalls were very minor - things that may not have been considered unless one had actually stayed in the rooms. E,g. Over sink in bathroom a small (maybe glass) shelf under mirror to place toothbrushes, paste, makeup, deodorant type things would have been appreciated. A cup holder and glass, for those of us who take meds. Also, we who read to go to sleep at night would be grateful for a headboard and a small night table with a lamp on either side of the bed, Certainly these small suggestions would not deter us from returning in the future or recommending Pangea to our traveling friends. Just extras that traveller's much as ourselves notice.
