Thanksgiving at the Red Farmhouse

The Red Farmhouse turned out to be perfect for our family of 25 to get together for Thanksgiving. May have to consider coming again in the summer.

Great for large gatherings!

Incredibly spacious, clean, and comfortable. I've stayed places where it's clear they don't care about the quality of the stay, and this is not one of those at all. Great experience!

Perfect for our Family Reunion!

The Red Farmhouse was the perfect place for our family of 25. The property is beautiful, spacious and located for convenient access to Garden City, parks, restaurants and the Marina. The property provides the space to have a large group together and still maintain privacy. It was exactly as advertised and made our family vacation a wonderful adventure for all ages. Anxious to come back!!

We loved the property

Everything was Great about the house. The children loved the bunk/game room. The size, the beds, the large gathering room, the hot tub, the swing set, etc. were all perfect for a large family. The only negative comment I had was that most of the bikes in the garage had issues. There were only 4-5 that the kids could enjoy.

From check in to check out our family truly enjoyed our stay in the Red Farmhouse. We had 37 people attend our reunion for a week together and never once felt like we were cramped or in each others way. There was so much more space than we envisioned.

We had a family reunion and the Red Barn was the perfect place for our family.

We had a family reunion and the Red Barn was the perfect place for our family. Our family of 24 had plenty of room to spread out and enjoy our stay. We loved the large kitchen table and were able to gather all our family around it. The two high chairs, pack n play, bikes, kayaks, game room and yard were enjoyed by our 15 grandchildren ages 3 months to 15. It was located close to Garden City Boardwalk Park where we gathered with extended family in the evenings. We had a wonderful time and left with sweet memories of our time in Bear Lake.

Perfect for our big family!

This property was perfect for us. We had 15 adults and 12 grandkids. The house was new and clean and many extras were included. The kitchen was well stocked. Grills, bowls, blenders, waffle makers, and plenty of dishes made us very comfortable. We were able to do everything we needed to do. With the big island and massive table everyone could set together to have meals. The refrigerator in the kitchen was very new and nice and the garage refrigerator helped with the extra things we needed to freeze and refrigerate. The living room/family room area had a big sectional that was so comfortable with a lg screen TV and easy hook ups for our Apple TV. We were able to use the wood stove and the fire was very cozy and easy to use. The back yard was so fun with the jacuzzi and swing set and ample seating and lawn. Parking was very adequate for all of our vehicles. Bedrooms were as big as the pictures portray. Plenty of beds for everyone. The loft area was perfect for the kids and they loved the pool table, tv and other games. The 2nd story provided a deck with table and chairs and an amazing view of the mountains around us. Customer service was key and we received great service from the first few minutes with help by the property manager replacing a battery in the thermostat to the last day with communication from the host with some of our needs. This property comes highly recommended by us. We thoroughly enjoyed our time on this property. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

Wonderful Family Reunion

We can’t say enough about our stay at the Red Farmhouse! It was clean, comfortable and so, so beautiful! There was plenty of space for everyone from beds to gathering spaces. The kitchen had everything we needed too. We would love to stay here again. It’s close to the lake, parks and town too; very convenient. Thank you!

It was a Winter Wonderland, Beautiful home

Gorgeous home, with everything that is needed for a family to have an amazing and warm time in the winter. It was very comfortable in every way, from open areas, to bedding and towels to kitchen and dining areas. Beautiful Christmas decor all throughout, and an amazing impression from the moment that you walk in. The garage is a must in winter, there is so much snow that it was so helpful to keep the cars clean and warm and ready for us when going out. It was very central to all the best Garden City has to offer in the winter when it comes to snow fun. It was safe to arrive at the home, roads well maintained, driveway well maintained. The neighborhood and its people are great, everyone so helpful and humble. The nearby choices for groceries are excellent. Only downside I think i could comment on - for us - was that the bathrooms are outside of the bedrooms. The vanity area does not have a privacy door, only shower and toilet area has privacy door. I think I understand where this comes from and it is the idea that a certain amount of guests should be able to have proper access to bathroom vanity while others shower or use toilet, it makes sense when thinking of a large group - but in our case it was not a large group and every couple with children had a designated bathroom - so in suite bath would have made the home 100% ideal for us. Sincerely, I am rating it 5 - because honestly it was 99.9% perfect for us. Thank you so much for hosting us, there is so much we can say that was positive but it would make for a very long review. Have no doubts when choosing this home, its value will exceed your expectations.

Great property for Bear Lake Family Reunion. Spacious kitchen with lots of seating. Large deck & patio with massive hot tub. Convenient location close to lake, golf, restaurants.

Wide open big House that had plenty of room for all of us. A lot of parking for the boat and wave runners. Kids love the swig set. Hot tube was great.

We traveled to Utah to spend Thanksgiving with my children and grandchildren.

We traveled to Utah to spend Thanksgiving with my children and grandchildren. I didn't want to spend time bouncing between homes or being crammed in together. So, I decided to rent a home by the Lake. I searched a lot of properties before I found the Red Farmhouse. I could not have found a better place. From the size and space, the 82" TV, the giant, fully stocked kitchen, a lot of beds, stocked bathrooms including Monat shampoo and conditioner, a beautiful, large jacuzzi...I could honestly go on... this place was amazing and we could not have been more satisfied! There was a gift of two nice coffee cups waiting for us along with a gingerbread house for the kids. Washer and dryer with detergent. Bathrooms had plenty of towels. Bedrooms had a lot of pillows and blankets. I told my wife that you could pick this place up and put it in Beverly Hills. This home did not disappoint at all. 100%, extremely satisfied! We will be back!!! First time working with Bear Lake Lodging so it's always a risk whether you can trust. But Bear Lake Lodging continually updated us and I give them my highest trust rating.
