The cabin was very clean and comfortable and worked really well for my family of 4. Check in and check out was great and very convenient. All around amazing experience!

Best place in Gardiner!

We were able to stay in both the River Lodge, and one of the hotel rooms because we were having such a good time we extended our stay. Both accommodations were great and the team running the place is so easy to work with. If we ever come back, this is where we would definitely want to stay!

The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and we loved seeing elk walk right by the front windows. Check-in was easy, and there were plenty of dining options nearby. The roads were in poor shape, but it was super close to the Yellowstone entrance — overall a great stay!

A hidden gem for Gardiner! Very well appointed and tastefully decorated room. Such a far cry from the overpriced and dated lodges run by Xanterra within the Yellowstone Park.

The location and service was excellent, but the stay was quite noisy. Thin walls maybe, but we could hear people throughout the night. Only negative for an otherwise great stay

We loved our stay at the 406 lodge. We stayed in river cabin #2. The cabin was so cute and in great condition. The view of the Yellowstone River was beautiful. Would highly recommend! Only a few minutes from park north gate.

Great place and great location

LARGE room that was immaculate and well appointed. Had benches for suitcases, kitchen had small fridge, coffee supplies and paper plates with plastic silverware. No cooking supplies, but we bought delicious muffins from the market for breakfast. Walking distance to stores and restaurants. The only issue was that all the spotlights are operated by one switch and the lamps were very dim. So everyone has to go to sleep at same time. There is a small sitting area with 2 chairs and a table with 2 chairs.

They thought of all the little touches including makeup towels, a wine key, and gave us a late checkout due to the activities we had planned.

Check in & out was super quick & easy! The room was very spacious for a family of 4! Hanging flower pots on the porch were a nice touch! The wilderness look was perfect! Beds & pillows were comfy. You could use a microwaveable dish.

Spacious, clean, modern room…but we could hear the TV, conversation, and footsteps of the people above us. Mostly vacant, and they put the only other guests right above us. Right near the North entrance to Yellowstone, which the hefty price reflected.
