The property had a nice view of the mountains. Inside it was very clean and had a nice cabin or lodge type of feel. The staff was always very friendly and very attentive. I would definitely rebook this hotel when staying in this area!

What a quaint little inn! It was on the edge of town so it felt a little quieter and more secluded. We were very happy with the wood furnishings and the overall cleanliness of the room. It was perfect for our needs as we were traveling through and needed a one-night stay. The front desk folks were friendly and informative.

Room is very clean. Staff is very pleasant and helpful. Has complementary coffee, tea, etc. No microwave in room, but has one in the dining room. Parking area is wide. You'll see elk the parking lot. Highly recommend this hotel.

Nice motel for where it is, near the north entrance to Yellowstone National Park. Clean and newly remodeled but a bit pricey compared to other Gardiner lodging given they don’t offer breakfast and don’t allow pets.

Great place to stay when visiting Yellowstone
We divided our trip locations to Yellowstone into two halves. This location was very close to the northern loop and a great place to return at the end of a memorable day. This inn has many unique features, most notable the beautiful Amish made furniture. Somehow, it manages to be both quaint and thoroughly modern at the same time. The staff was so friendly and it is very near the park entrance. We were so happy with our choice.

Very sweet, family owned business. Rooms had a personal touch and were extremely clean and updated. The custom woodwork throughout the hotel was awesome and gave it a cabiny touch. The grounds were super clean and just as seen and described on Expedia. We look forward to going back . Josh, front desk was amazing . ( as was his now wife). They both gave excellent advice on what to do, see, and eat in the area. As well they had very fun stories of their time around Yellowstone. Stay here, I guarantee you’ll love the hotel and hospitality

Three couples traveling to both Grand Teton National Park and Yellowstone National Park enjoyed three nights of accommodation at Yellowstone Village Inn. For each of us, it was convenient, reasonably priced, extremely clean and a place we will definitely stay in the future!

Upside- nice and quiet! Very comfortable bed. Party is free and easy. Downside- the morning coffee was bad even by hotel standards and all they had was fake creamer not milk or H&H. No food at all. Rooms are cramped and small with no place to unpack clothing. Vey little surface area and no drawers to use for example. Might be a Montana thing though because we have stayed in three hotels so far and none have had a closet or a dresser.

We loved that it was family owned. They were all so friendly and helpful. Beautiful place; loved the little shelves by the door to set something on when trying to open the room door. Only suggestion would be to get the fireplace working so we could have enjoyed that as well.

Overall good stay. Was here for easy access to Yellowstone’s entrance. The front desk employees were nice and had great manners. Beds were overall comfortable. A plus is that one of the nights there were some elk on the yard!

Booked this place on our way to YS Natl Park. Super clean and very accessible location to the park. Loved having coffee brewed and ready all day. The staff was really kind and helpful. The check in and out was simple. Unfortunately, no place to eat on site and the sure area had limite to options but we made it work. I’d stay for shre again.

Amazing staff! Thank you Josh for all your helpful tips for our first time adventure to Yellowstone! We highly recommend this property for its closeness to the north entrance. You can walk anywhere to restaurants. We were greeted last night on our walk back by elks grazing on the front lawn😀

Expensive place for such a simple, plain, no frills place….Plus our heater didn’t work and it was down to 40 degrees. Dining room was VERY nice. Had the best trout dinner I’ve ever had and an unbelievable dessert!

Nice place for an overnighter. Not for the handicapped, though unless you request a first floor unit. We were too late in that request, so had to negotiate the stairs. Friendly staff and good price. Very clean. Coffee and tea available downstairs.
