We were a group of 4 retired men who belong to The Rod, Gun, and Bloody Mary Benevolent Society. We rented the house so we could fly fish for Salmon, go crabbing, and dig for clams. We had a wonderful stay! House was perfect!! Thanks for the great stay!

Great house. Easy access, clean and lots of parking space. Nice, covered carport and big upper outside deck. Bedrooms are nice, kitchen is nice and big with lots of things to use in it.

Lots of parking. Big lot for the children to run around and play. Right across the street from the Pier. Lucked out on the crab, but had fun overall!

Great location

Clean, spacious and has all the amenities you’d expect and hope for. Great location with views of the bay. It’s on Hwy. 101, but that really wasn’t an issue at all in terms of noise or traffic.

Family get together 2025

We do like this house, it does check a lot of or boxes, but we had to wait an hour and a half for the cleaning people to get out. I did not say finish because it was not clean it was 5:20 when we finally were able to get in to unpack our food that we had bought on the way through Tillamook. We were very disappointment. My wife and Sister had to re-wash the sheets because the dryer was filled WAY beyond capacity and not started (it was a good thing they forgot to start it because they were not clean anyway) One of the cleaning people told us we would not be able to use the downstairs shower until a "maintenance man" came. Then two guys showed up with a little tiny plunger they were in the house for about 15 min came back out and told me he could not clear the drain he would have to come back the next day after 3pm with a jetter. When we brought in our groceries there were dirty footprints from the master-bath to the kitchen I cleaned that up had to use paper towels there was no mop. We bought a mop and left it for the next people. My brother in law found a plunger and I boiled water we got the tub to drain after about an hour. I really do like this house but the cleaning people were not on the ball (at all). There was food crumbs, sand and dust bunnies under the couch, the corners were not swept surfaces needed wiped I cleaned the bbq. the carport was handy to put our waders on and rinse off the covered back area was a hit I love the lot and the parking I do like this house

Fantastic stay.

House was clean, and accurately listed. We had a blast. The in room heaters allowed us more control individually, and that was awesome. They had nice pots and pans, and when we didnt have propane they delivered some right away--communication was easy and promot.

A great family Thanksgiving crabbing.

We do this every year. We were with a daughter and husband, a son, a granddaughter and my wife and me. The place was very nice, clean, and had the room to have our Thanksgiving celebration. The was ample room to park our 24 foot boat and to turn it around to access the highway. We would certainly do this again.

Birthday at the beach

Ample parking and large covered area. Ping Pong room was a huge plus because we could get a little noisy without disturbing the children’s bedtime. Beds were comfortable, ample room for everyone. Decorated were beach which was fun. Close to crabbing. Issues: very dirty floor on the first floor, if you took your shoes off your feet would be black. Downstairs shower/tub doors were very narrow, difficult to get in shower. Dryer heat cycle did not work, could not dry clothes. No window coverings in living and dinning room. Being so close to a very busy road made it more annoying. Overall it met our needs but we would not book there again.

Property listing service was excellent, location for crabbing and clamming was excellent time with my grandchildren was excellent. When we found mold in the windows. There was a gentleman there promptly to clean it up, but the mold in the walls were not cleanable, the mold was painted over. The Kitchen countertops are coming off the counter and the built in cutting board needed to be removed,was very dirty and coming apart. Lots of spiders webs. The management company was attentive, but the Property is in need of deep cleaning and maintenance.

Not my favorite

This property sits right on highway 101 and it has large windows that face the highway. The windows have no windows coverings. I was not able to use the living room after dark. The kitchen was very poorly stocked. Pans ha been put away dirty. Basic essentials

Great Place Overall

House was clean, backyard grilling area was spacious and handy. Only drawback was the proximity to the highway. Logging trucks start running at 3 am and with no A/C had to open windows which amplified the road noise. That was the only reason for not giving 5 stars.

Not 4 Bedrooms

The property is located walking distance to downtown Garibaldi on hwy 101. There was noise from the highway but we were not bothered. There were numerous blankets, games and books. Adorable back yard area. It's an older beach place with some cute upgrades and decor. The beds and linens were comfortable. A few carpet stains and rust, to be expected at a beach rental property. There were a few disappointments the biggest, advertised as 4 bedrooms. There were 3. We had all adults (3 couples and my handicapped mom) . One of the couples to sleep on the bunkbeds in the hallway (counted as a bedroom?) in a traffic area next to the bathroom. Great for kids, but not grown ups. Secondly, the agency texted us the day of the dishwasher was broken and could not be fixed before or during our trip. I saw in an earlier review, it was broken so they knew this beforehand. There was not a dish drying rack making it even more difficult. I ended up buying prepared foods to minimize the dish use but that cost a lot more. Third, we received an email stating we could not have guests without written consent. Since this was a family wedding weekend I called to get permission. They said they would not allow more than 12 total people there. It did not state this in the listing. We are in our 50s to 80s with positive rental reviews. Overall, great location and place, but listing needs to be accurate so guests know what they are renting.

Excellent spot for adventuring or just hanging out

We wanted to take our adult and teenage children to the Oregon coast to explore and spend time together. This was a perfect spot for day trips to the beaches followed by evenings together around the house and cooking family meals. There was also plenty of room for everyone to spread out and get some alone time. It’s conveniently located near a pier where we got a great view of the sunset.

No dishwasher, no kitchen cleaning cloths or sponges and poor communication.

Two main issues: (1) sent a message through VRBO on Monday saying the dishwasher wasn't working. After waiting 20 hours I called and was told I should have sent a text. Why have a VRBO inbox if it's not used? Was told they might be able to get someone out to repair the dishwasher--that never happened by the time we left on Friday and I didn't receive any communication about it. Was also told that maybe the people staying at the house could wash dishes. No empathy there. I also said we should receive a discount for the fact a dishwasher was supposed to be included in the rent and was told that wouldn't happen. Note—was offered a discount for our next rental which is appreciated. (2) there were no dish rags or sponges in the kitchen. Was told someone would drop some off--that never happened and there was no communication about it. Other than that, the home was clean, had lots of towels, enjoyed the patio area and ping pong room, and the kitchen was pretty well stocked. Since the home is right next to the highway, we were glad that it wasn’t much of a problem.

The Oregon coast explorers

In general good. We were 4 single woman so we were led to believe it was 4 bedroom. My critique would be 3 bedrooms with an open area that sleeps extra people.
