「Nice house. The owner is very helpful.」

「This was our second time staying at the Nook. Penny is great, the place is so conveniently located, and always has everything we need! 」

「The pictures are accurate as seen on the website . However, the amenities left a lot to be desired. The six bath towels were good and the 7 washcloths were horrible as some had bleach stains on them and they were very thin. No hand towels were provided to dry your hands on in the bathroom. Nor were there paper towels in the bathroom for that purpose. The other rooms were clean but the bathroom needs a deep cleaning . No cleaning products were provided either. 」

「Overall a good stay. The location is good, and communication with the host was great!The house is older, and some aspects are not great in terms of niceness and quality - the bedrooms are very small, some doors don't shut or latch fully, no horizontal surfaces in the bathroom for toiletries, etc - stuff that is difficult to see from listing photos. Also, parking is limited - it's street parking only, and on a somewhat steep hill. Definitely want to set the parking brake and cut the wheels...

「Clean house responsive host close to things to do 」

「Very nice stay. Space was very comfortable and well equipped. Beds were comfortable. Host was great. Went out of the way to provide a dryer that had died right before we arrived. Super appreciated since it was the first stop for us on a longer trip. Would definitely recommend and would not hesitate to stay again if in the area. 」

「The home is beautiful and well designed. The bed was ridiculously comfy. Hot tub was awesome and was great to have a little yard for my tiny pup. Close to amazing restaurants and shopping. Super easy check in and out. My dog is tiny so I put up a barrier between basement stairs and back door so she wouldn’t fall down the stairs but probably wouldn’t be a problem with larger dogs :) backyard needed to be mowed but believe it was due to my booking right after another one so not a big deal. 「The house was normal. No major issues. We were told there would be a washer and dryer, but it did not have one accessible. It appeared to be in the garage, but the garage was locked and no one would respond.Our check in was 3:00 pm on Friday, at noon on Friday the company managing the property tetzy? told me that I needed to provide everyones first and last name and their cell phone. Seemed strange. 1. Why wait until the last minute and 2. Why do you need everyone's contact? I saw this request,...

「We had a wonderful visit! The house is comfortable and being able to walk to the beach was perfect. There were minor kitchen supplies that needed replacing and the host was quick to reply and get what was needed. We would come back!」

「The home was beautiful and felt very new, up-to-date and modern. The home, as well as the location, were lovely and peaceful. We were in the area for a wedding and had other family members in another VRBO. We were all able to come together (apprx 16 of us) at this home for hamburgers on the grill and to sit back, relax and enjoy marshmallows over the firepit later in the evening. 」

「Very nice home with a lot of that small town charm. Very detailed guest book with places to eat and a lot of good information. Beds were comfortable and plentiful for our small family. Owner was in good communication and very responsive if needing something. Provided everything you could need so can pack lighter. 」

「We enjoyed our time in Chicago. The house was great and had lots of space. It was easy to get to and from downtown Chicago. Check in and communication was great. The parking was street parking but we never had an issue finding a parking spot. There wasn't really anything within walking distance but that was fine. Overall this was a perfect place for our family.」
