Wonderful space! Elizabeth is very attentive if you need anything, but gives guests their space. Many thoughtful details (soaps, towels, games, TV subscriptions, fresh eggs, coffee, drawing supplies, treats to feed the chickens and cat, etc...). There is a composting toilet (not a downside, just something to be aware of).The upstairs/bedroom is much bigger than I expected.I stayed by myself and felt safe - driveway is gated and the cabin is all the way to the back. The entire backyard is private and all yours- I took several walks around the yard and enjoyed feeding the chickens and sitting on the covered patio in the rain. I can't say much about the nearby attractions, as I came for some solo writing/art time, so I didn't leave the house much. It was very quiet and perfect for a place to hibernate for a weekend.
