“Very environmentally friendly lodging, in an extremely walkable part of St. Emelion. Nath's (owner) mother owns the restaurant across the street. She has some recommended bottles of wine in the room with prices very clearly labeled. It was great to have AC, and a mini fridge. Would highly recommend!”

“We recommend La Villa des Vignes unreservedly. Outstanding hospitality, aesthetics, lovely library/lounge and location. Clean, comfortable beds, gorgeous views from the breakfast room and its terrace, peaceful and quiet. There is no food except for breakfast so for snack lovers we recommend bringing a few provisions. But there is a small grocery store 2 minutes walk away so not a non-issue for us.”

“Fantastic long weekend in Saint Emilion! Our host Michel was wonderful, super helpful and friendly throughout our stay at 537. Very communicative offering lots of advice on the local area and any questions we had were answered quickly and clearly. We were celebrating our anniversary and he could not have done more for us to make it feel special. The room was perfect. Spacious, modern and amazing bath! The grounds were immaculate with a lovely pool and seating area. The continental breakfast was……

Staying there is like at home, as you got that kind of family touch … room is spacious and clean , views throughout the vineyards are stunning! Learned that owner’s vineyards haven been rented to Saint Angelus, one of our favorite wines, and that backyards has indeed enhanced our feeling. ”

“What a fabulous hotel! We loved the Pavillon - with all its charm and character. The hotel is beautifully furnished and decorated, in a lovely countryside setting with a beautiful view of the valley and vineyards. The breakfast was fantastic - with quiches and fresh breads, croissants, baked apples, fresh juices, jams, yogurts and eggs prepared fresh to your order. David and Nathalie are outstanding hosts and we loved our stay.”

The dinners (table d'hôtes) were phenomenal with excellent wine pairings from the region. We also very much appreciated the recommendations on things to do in the vicinity and which scenic roads to take. We felt like we stayed with family.
