My family genuinely enjoyed this property during our stay in Gatlinburg. Its location made it easy to walk just about anywhere, and we even spotted three bears while we were there. We’ll absolutely be booking again.

The rooms were horrid. It had an awful smell to them, bugs in them and I found blood on the walls. I am flabbergasted at how this hotel is even standing. The reviews in it must be fake because no way this hotel is an 8. On top of that, the staff were extremely rude from the get go. The front desk guy named Greg was extremely unfriendly and not willing to assist us with any questions we had. Would just plain ignore us and give us attitude. Should reconsider hiring someone at front desk because he lacks in basic costumer service. There was also no hot water in all rooms. Everyone at the hotel were complaining about it. It was a cold night and the fact that no hot water was there was very concerning. Overall a horrible experience here and we left once we saw the conditions of the rooms. We didn't even get a full refund so just avoid this hotel at all costs and save yourself the headache.

Room was disgusting, blood stains, bugs in room, doors not closing or locking properly, dirty bed sheets & was told bugs in the room are expected because it’s the mountains. Multiple guests checking in that day had similar complaints, and after 13+ hours of travel our party checked in to four separate rooms and three rooms had no access to hot water & one room lost hot water access mid shower in cold weather conditions & was told we needed to wait for the plumber to come and wait an hour for functioning water. Horrible guest experience, save yourself the trouble and book elsewhere. High ratings are likely a scam because it does not match the condition of the property, the customer service, or the condition of the rooms. Would have given zero stars if possible.

La habitación tenía una bonita vista pero la limpieza de la habitación fue terrible. En 3 días solo cambiaron las toallas pero nunca arreglaron las camas ni limpiaron la habitación. Staff wasn’t very polite. The dead bolt on the door wouldn’t latch but a little bit- wouldn’t go all the way in- which made us uncomfortable. Would be an exceptional place if you remodeled some and got some staff that knew something about customer service. The fact that if we didn’t get there by a certain time our key would be taken to a neighboring motel and we would have to go there to check in was inconvenient for us. This is the only motel that I’ve ever stayed in that didn’t have someone at the desk full time. Desperately needs work to the rooms- the bathroom ceiling needs repair, the door to the balcony (the glass) was painted black; a curtain or blind would be better. The room had a weird smell; not sure if it was dampness or something else. Way behind on amenities; almost all other motels have breakfast. I guess you get what you pay for. Lesson learned.
