"Enjoyed our recent stay at the Gdansk Scandic hotel. Great location just across from the main train station, in a neighbourhood with lots of restaurants. Staff were helpful, the room was clean, quite roomy and 100% quiet. I certainly rate the breakfast 5 stars as the food was plentiful, of good quality and a generous seating are was provided. Highly recommended."

"Overall the hotel stay was fine. The check in/out were quick and the room was spacious. The hotel premises was nice and clean, and the room was also mostly clean the carpet in the room was just a bit dirty appearing. My biggest complaint about the hotel is that a huge factor in our choice of hotel was the amenity of the sauna/spa/pool. It is not disclosed prior to booking that there are swimming lessons for 1-5 year old children for most of the day on Tuesday and Thursday plus one hour on Monday. It is incredibly loud and never ending and when our stay was only Mon and Tues when we went on Tuesday the spa was completely unpleasant. For a spa area that is meant to be peaceful and quiet it was a jungle, and the kids even went into the jacuzzi which they were not supposed to. Very unpleasant for hotel guests wanting to take advantage of the amenities we are paying for."
