A great property with an amazing history behind it. Rooms are very spacious, have good facilities and comfy beds. Dining options are excellent, loads to choose from. Everything is in walking distance and felt very safe walking around at any time.

Really enjoyed our stay, the mezzanine was a great benefit when travelling with a young adult as part of the family. The restaurants downstairs are all amazing and the choice was fantastic. I would stay here again definitely.

Very clean, modern, spacious, and affordable apartments. Well within walking distance of the attractions and ammenities Gdansk has to offer. The food hall & bar on the ground floor was also a highlight, offering a variety of dinining options that were very reasonably priced and of very good quality. I would most certainly stay at the Montownia again should I visit Gdansk again.

A very cool place to stay! Huge room, comfy bed, kitchenette and food court downstairs. Amazing renovation of a former U Boat factory in the Gdansk Shipyard area, 5 mins walk from the hall where Solidarnosc began and 15 min walk to Old Town. Very friendly reception staff.

Great stay

Fabulous hotel in a beautifully done historical conversion close to museums and a short walk to cadets town centre. Very comfortable rooms and delightful staff. The food hall on the ground floor was always busy and didn't disturb at all.

Montownia

Montownia was a fantastic place to stay. Fairly central to the old town. The apartments were clean and spacious. Having the foodhall in the hotel was great too. I would recommend staying here.

Great stay in a fantastic hotel. The room was spacious, clean, comfortable and super quiet considering the food hall is downstairs! The food hall is also amazing and a must try, multiple times because theres so much choice and its all lovely! Its well located so you can walk to all the attractions as well, WW2 museum is 10 minutes walk and old town only 15 minutes

Exceeded our expectations. Super spacious and clean. Staff are wonderful and friendly. The atmosphere is great. The breakfast at Green Egg was fantastic and fresh. Definitely make sure to include breakfast. Can highly recommend this property as one of the best we have stayed in.

Christmas market visit

The hotel was immaculate and model with a ubique hostiry and architural design. The foor hall downstairs was modern and offered a rabge of diverse cuisines with friendly staff. The old town with access to the christmas market was an easy 10 walk from the hotwl. The only downside was that on night two we had a young family move in next door and because of the design of the rooms noise resonated loudly into our room and discturbed our sleep.

Unique building and the rooms are furnished to a high standard. Only one clean for a weeks stay, which never happened and we weren’t told we had to ask, apart from that minor gripe, the place was fab… it’s definitely not a hotel, it’s just self catering small suites and rooms. The food court is very good and well priced. Surprisingly no noise from the entertainment at the weekend. Gdańsk is such a hub for food, the old town and museums, as well as Sopot and further afield. It also has significant historical interest.

What a gem of a find; this property is amazing. It's only a short walk out of the city centre, located on the docks and has retained many of it's historical features. Formerly a submarine factory, this accommodation now boosts brilliant features and has a vibrant food hall, with cuisines from around the world on the ground floor (note it shuts at 10pm, but worth checking if a band is playing). The rooms are well equipped and you can't hear anything from the food court. There's a supermarket opposite if you want to get some provisions too, so the kitchenette is very welcomed. The 10-15 min walk to the river bars/restaurants is lovely, full of little residential areas, parks, bridges and public art. It really is a gem which I would love to return to.
