Great place!
Perfect for a trip to the beach. Clean, well appointed and comfortable with pleasant, unfussy decor. Every thing needed for nice stay. We look forward to our ext trip.

One getaway
Check in and check out time should be changed. It gives you very little time to stay and relax. Asked to check in early, but I guess cleaning takes six hours. Then closely looking at the place cobwebs, dust bunnies in corners of wall, baseboards dusty. The place (other units) empty so not the time of year others would be visiting as we were the only car in the parking lot. We could have checked in early.

Puppy's first trip to the beach
We had a great time! Our 6 month old lab had the time of her life. The grass areas immediately outside are off limits to pets but easy enough to get around them. The beach was quiet and just a 3 minute walk from the front door. We look forward to coming back soon.

Great place to stay. Close to everything in seaside - maybe 10 min away. Wish they would spend a few dollars on some sheets and pillows though. The sheets must be 100 thread count and the pillows are like empty sacks….other than that the place is great

Favorite place to stay with my 🐾
We stay here every time we get a chance & love it! The screen door needs to be fixed and having the fireplace working again would be great, but I’m sure those things will be addressed soon.

100 yards trail to beach
The two of us and our dog were happy with the rental, the big green area where we could play with our dog. The beach is a short distance away (the path takes you to the beach where vehicles are allowed…go left 50 yards and they are not allowed). The fireplace should have been working and their should be more storage, but overall we enjoyed it.

Location was excellent. View was excellent. Condo was acceptable. Furniture needs to be cleaned to minimize the frigging dog hair. Not a dog lover and having to put up with dog hair is not good. Screen door fell off every time you tried to open it.

Peaceful and scenic
Gearheart is our new favorite destination on the Oregon coast. Beautiful beach without the crowds. We loved our view from the condo. A perfect space for getting away and enjoying nature. And just a short walk to McMenamins. We’ll be back again.

So glad we found this place! It was super stormy the first night which was fun to watch and listen to. (Although there is a broken light outside that got a little annoying as it was super annoying with all the wind, it clanged against the wall). The next day it was super sunny, big windows really allow you to enjoy the weather! Beach is absolutely beautiful! Nice trail to the beach, but if you are not as mobile as you would like there is a vehicle access point a block or two away. I would love to come back to stay longer!

We enjoyed staying at the property. It was supplied well. However, if your a cook bring a couple of your favorite pans. The ones supplied worked but not the best for cooking. Overall it was a wonderful stay.

Comfortable on-the-beach condo for two.
Great spot for a fall trip to the Oregon coast. The condo was super clean and tidy and the prefect space for a couple to spread out. The kitchen was big enough for cooking and dining in— which is our preference during Covid times. There was a wall of windows that looked out to the ocean and it was a quick walk across the dune to a walk on the sandy beach. . The location was central enough to go south to Cannon Beach and Tillamook and north to Astoria and Long Beach WA. We’ll definitely book this condo again.

COVID getaway
This was our first fun trip since the start of COVID. The property was just what we needed. Beautiful weather, long walks on the beach and golf! The unit was clean and well stocked with appliances, cooking pots and pans and utensils.

Perfect for a couple
The property and location were great for us. The beach is so close and our dog was over the moon. It was her first visit to the beach and we could tell immediately she was in her happy place. We can’t wait to go back. If you’re looking for quiet kicked back relaxation this place is absolutely perfect.

Lovely location
We had a nice stay. Location is great with short walk to the beach. It’s nicely decorated and well stocked! We had a couple of issues: (1) we tried to reschedule our visit and messaged the manager with no response until weeks later and two days before the scheduled reservation and (2) the sliding door does not latch, so you need to use the wood rod to secure the door. Thanks again for a great visit!

Winter Sojourn
This was a great place to stay for a week during winter. Very cozy, well stocked, super doggie friendly and all with a beautiful view of the ocean. We had been concerned reading other reviews mentioning vehicles on the beach. But if you head south on the beach just about 2 blocks or so, you have a long stretch of beach where no vehicles are allowed. Fabulous for us and our dog!

Great Getaway
We loved staying at this home. It was clean and cozy; the perfect size for two people. You can see the ocean from the living room/kitchen and walk there quickly. The skylight is perfect for winter storms and hearing the rain. The kitchen is equipped perfectly with everything you need and the bed is very comfortable! I cannot wait to return!

Loved the stay at this dog friendly apartment.
The condo was exactly as described; we absolutely want to stay here again. It was a few minutes walk to the beach. It had a lovely ocean view. The bed was comfy. Our dog loved the treats they left for him. I appreciated the gas bbq which we used several nights. Gearhart was fantastic. It was much more relaxing than Seaside or Cannon Beach. We loved chatting with the locals as we walked our dog in town and on the beach, probably wouldn't happen in CB or Seaside! Pacific Way Bakery is outstanding. McMenamin's was a 5 minute walk and had a dog friendly patio. Part of the beach by the cabin does allow cars. That's too bad, it's ruined large stretches of Washington beaches. I hate to see it in Oregon. However that is totally beyond the owner's control.

Wonderful!
We enjoyed everything about our stay. The location was amazing, just outside of seaside and a short drive to cannon beach. It was quiet and relaxing. We usually cut our trips short because we love being home, but we felt at home this whole trip! We will definitely be staying here from now on as compared to in cannon beach. The condo was remarkable, everything you could need. Can’t wait to come back!!

Quick get away
We go to Gearhart every year, we usually go with our family, but this time it was just the two of us. The unit was very clean and the view was fantastic. We took our pooch and it was a perfect quick get away. We’ll definitely be back.

Relaxing Beachside Getaway
We loved our stay in this vacation rental in Gearhart. The place was clean, cozy, and had easy/direct beach access. The place is just the right size for 2 people and a pup. The bed was very comfortable as was the couch and swivel/reclining chair in the living room — great for watching the Elk roam around. We would highly recommend a stay here, especially if you want to bring your fur-baby.

This property is small but perfect for 2 and your dog. The condo is beautifully decorated, it's freshly renovated, clean and well very stocked. We loved our cute little condo. Spectacular views included ocean over a bluff of grass and numerous Reindeer walking in front of our condo. Very comfortable stay and will definitely return to Gearhart!

Peaceful seaside condo
This condo is lovely and we really enjoyed the setting. The bed was very comfortable and we had everything we needed in the kitchen. It was easy to get in since there is a combination lock on the door and you don’t have to mess with a lock box and one key. There is a wide beach that isn’t crowded and a bonus was that we saw herds of elk grazing along the grassy areas between the condo and the beach.

We loved the little town of Gearhart and the 3mi away to seaside! We highly recommend eating at Yellow Curry in Seaside. Really delicious Thai food. Very nice owner as well. The owners we met at the house beach house were so nice and welcoming. The pictures ARE like the ones posted. Literally a 2-3 minute walk to the bench that overloooks the beach. Only small downside is the bed is to firm for our liking. But other than that small detail. We plan on coming back!

Perfect (and flawed)
The condo is comfortable and well appointed, we especially liked the kitchen. The location is tremendous, quick walk down to the beach and we love the town of Gearhart. However, the description "dog-friendly" is an exaggeration - dog tolerant is more accurate. There are signs throughout the unit and the property admonishing pet owners to mind their Ps and Qs, "don't play on the lawn" "beware a condo owner who wants to eliminate the pet policy - pictures and videos of infractions will be sent to the HOA", etc. We have a very playful, well behaved pup, we are conscientious in caring for her and cleaning up after her. I was on edge every time we ventured outside to go to the beach or take a potty break for fear our presence would be an intrusion on another owner. The other missing for us is a washer and dryer. We were there in the off season and got rain most of our trip. We loved the weather and enjoyed walking on the beach even in the showers. There are no hooks to hang rain gear anywhere in the entry way or unit. It would have been really nice to dry our wet clothes. We recommend this place for a single or couple without kids or pets and visit in the warmer, dry weather.

We enjoyed our week long stay. The condo was clean and well stocked. When we arrived, the light in the shower didn't work and it was promptly replaced by the owner. There was also a light by the couch in the living room with no bulb in it. The slider door had no working lock so you had to use a stick to lock it. The slider screen was nearly impossible to close all the way and was very hard to slide. It took me a minute to figure out that you had to use the code to lock the front door as well as open it. If you use the coffee maker, I found it much easier to just bring it over to the sink to refill it and rinse it out. I will complain about the bed. It was much too hard for us. We like a firm mattress but this one was just hard. The weather totally cooperated and the walks from the condo were just wonderful. We recommend this place, and offer these suggestions to be helpful. We hope to return! Thanks!

Ocean view from the patio!
Beautiful stretch of beach just steps from the patio area. We even witnessed a small group of elk with 2 calves grazing in the grasses between the property and the beach! Gearhart is a gem of a town!

This was a fantastic weekend...weather was amazing and the location of this property was perfect. Short walk to the water, short walk to the mcMenamins...all of which are very dog friendly! The only thing I'd suggest for this condo is a large fan as it got very warm inside every afternoon. We will definitely be back!
