The property is beautiful and in a perfect location! The house is spacious and comfortable. The kitchen and washer/dryer need to be updated. There was an issue with the smoke detectors during our stay and it was challenging to reach a real person to address the issue. I prefer talking to a local property manager when issues arise.

Great roomy house close to the beach

Lots of room to spread out. Clean with solid kitchen appointments. Walked to the beach every day with our fishing and clamming gear. Quiet area and very walkable with kids, dogs. Absolutely would recommend. Other family members stayed in the house behind this one and it made for a nice family vacation spot.

Perfect Dog-Friendly Cozy Beach Getaway

We LOVED staying at the Clay Miller house! It was very clean, extremely well furnished with everything you might need during your stay, the beds were comfortable, the location is great and close to so many things including the beach. This has been our favorite place to stay yet! We would highly recommend this home!

Gorgeous location but home cleanliness left lots to be desired

The home’s architecture and location were as described and just what we hoped for. The cabinetry and bathrooms were outdated and squeaky but would have been fine, were it not that the home hadn’t been cleaned before we arrived. Vacasa refunded our cleaning fee after the 50 photos we submitted were reviewed. It was a shame to step into and then stay in an expensive rental that was truly filthy (I don’t use this word in an exaggerated way). Hopefully the homeowners find a new cleaner and update some of the amenities because this place could definitely be a 5/5!

weekend getaway

I wanted a weekend getaway on the Oregon coast and this location was perfect. It was walking distance from the beach and there were plenty of restaurants and shops a short drive away. Wonderful spot, so quiet & peaceful. Made lots of good memories during my short stay.

Good house for pups and kids

This was a great place to stay. Close to Seaside, we also walked down Wellington Ave to Little Beach just a block or so away. Would definitely stay here again.

Gearhart haven

This is our second time here. The house is perfect for us and our dogs. The neighborhood is very quiet. Walking the ridge path to the Pacific Way Bakery for coffee and pastries in the morning. Walking up E Street to the path to the beach is beautiful. Great time.

A wonderful retreat for our Girls weekend

This beach house is simply beautiful and charming. It’s clean, with a foyer entrance, original wood floors and finishes with an inviting open floor plan. A lot of windows, warm furnishings and decor. A few blocks from the beach access and surrounded by beautiful beach homes. The kitchen has simple wood cabinets full of everything you need to cook a fabulous meal and serve with several plate options and a farmhouse kitchen table in the dining room. I could go on and on because I loved it! Lots of room for everyone! I hope to visit again❤️

Family vaca

Upon arrival the house seemed clean but later that day we realized the towels had been put away wet and the dishes put away with food on them. Not the owners fault. This house would be great for a family with small kids.

Seaside vacation

The house was very nice and clean. The only issue I had was my wife and I were in the upstairs bedroom and it got very warm during the night. Also they needed some kind of sun shade over the large window in the bedroom, the sun shines directly onto the bed as soon as it comes up, no chance to sleep in.we ran out of propane for the grill the first night and the manager replaced it first thing in the morning. Overall the house was very nice and a great place to stay for a family vacation.

Home is lovely as well as the location. Unfortunately, we had limited use of the kitchen with a gutted out cooktop hood which dripped brown fluid from it open exposure, the BBQ was disgusting (looked like perhaps a whole pig was cooked in it and not cleaned out), the main bathroom has a bad leak by bathtub with black mold which triggered allergy reactions, and broken recess ceiling lights which dimmed the area as well as inadequate lighting to be able to read.

A totally restful stay

This house offers just what we needed to feel at home in Gearhart. The furniture is comfy and the upstairs bed was so cozy I slept like a baby. I love the Juliette balcony. The décor is minimal but that helps show off the wood interior and construction which is so unique. The only thing I would change would be adding a fenced area for dogs. We ended up buying a rope and letting our dog drag it around the yard to make sure she didn't run into the street. I would also upgrade the TV. Three remotes doesn't seem necessary these days. It was confusing enough that we didn't use it and streamed things on our iPad instead which was fine. I didn't want to leave

Not impressed at all

The house felt like it was furnished just enough to say it was furnished. The bed was saggy in the middle and there were issues with cleanliness. I know I could’ve reached out to have this resolved but respectfully, I shouldn’t have to. There was makeup all over the sheets prior to us using the bed. All the dishes we used had to be washed prior to use and were covered in grime. The hood vent above the stove was atrocious. With 2 bars of wifi in the master bedroom, the wifi wouldn’t work. (I’m tech savvy) The saddest part was we requested approval for one more person above our guest limit for a birthday party for my 1 year old son. Not to stay the night, just to host the birthday party. We clarified we are quiet people and don’t drink and they just said no. There were no clarifying questions asked which was frustrating. The checkout feature is tedious. It’s just another thing for me to do on a trip that’s supposed to be relaxing and worry free. Lastly, we had a 3 day trip. Early day 2 we noticed the care team that the batteries in the tv remote were dead and that we didn’t find replacements in the house. After another day and 3/4 the issue was never resolved. As a parent with kids, this was a tool removed from my tool belt which added to a non restful trip.
