"For a Spark by Hilton, the property has not yet been refreshed, only rebranded. The lobby is nice, but that's where it ends. Let me first say that the desk staff is very friendly and helpful. They greeted me every time I came in and out of the hotel. Very well trained and knowledgeable about the area. The lobby has a little store for drinks and snacks. There is a breakfast every morning but I had no time to try it. The property is definitely aged and showing it's previous history as a two-story, off-the-highway motel. My room was comfortable, the bed was fine, the pillows need to be replaced. The lighting is TERRIBLE! There is no overhead light in the room! There are two small lamps built into the headboards that serve only as reading lamps. There was no desk lamp or it was missing. The curtains were not effective and there was a super bright street lamp right outside the window. I luckily had a binder clip I could use to hold them closed. For being so close to the highway, the room was quiet. The bathroom was nice and clean with a large walk-in shower (no tub), great water pressure, soap, shampoo, and conditioner in large bottles in the shower stall. Towels are okay, and there are lots of them. There were NO cups or glasses in the bathroom! Closet space is okay. There is NO drawer space, only cubbies. There is a small fridge. I didn't notice a coffee maker. Once refreshed this will be a nice budget-priced place for a short stay. Again, the front desk staff are lovely."

"This visit was a little disappointing. There was no soap in the room and the bathtub appeared that it hadn't been cleaned. I was told to park in front of the of the assigned room, but when I arrived there at 7 o'clock there was no space there."

"Due to a family emergency on a recent trip to Boston (3+weeks in Boston Children’s Hospital NICU) a planned stay with this hotel needed to be cancelled. Despite several days advanced notice of our inability to make the reservation, this Best Western declined to waive the reservation charge. This was not a random decision change, this was a family medical emergency that required our presence. This is nothing short of cold, callous, gouging…at a time of great family turmoil! A frequent traveler, I will never again frequent this establishment or any other Best Western property. I will also mention that Hotels.com did next to nothing to advocate for us, or as a matter of good corporate policy, refund this reservation when Best Western refused to help. I would suggest avoiding Best Western properties or using Hotels.com as your travel aggregator. Neither of the companies are truly supportive of their customers."

"booked a room with a jacuzzi. i was really looking forward to it but it was leaking when i tried to use it. I was asked to turn it off and maintenance would get to it the next day. maintenance never got to fixing it during my stay and I didnt get to use what i payed for"
