Girls Weekend Away

The house was clean and the view of the water was great! This location is great walking distance to the Geneva-on-the-Lake strip. Decent location for our winery tour as well. Only negative aspect I would say is the overall crowd on Saturday night was a bit sketchy. We called it a night early and just enjoy our evening back at the house with friends.

61st Anniversary Celebration

We treated our parents to a not so faraway short little getaway to celebrate their 61st wedding anniversary. This house was perfect for my 80+ year old parents to navigate. They enjoyed the view from the porch and nearby wineries. My siblings and I also enjoyed the walking distance bars and restaurants and our dog enjoyed the park. Win win for all of us! Thank you! Would just advise people to write down door code and not rely on internet service prior to connecting to wi-fi. That was our only “blip” but called the number for Sunset Vacations and they got us situated l. 👍 Thank you!!

There was a spider issues and some dusting out side and under furniture would help. The stairs down to the lake are not lit up at night which is a big safety issue. Otherwise the house was decent!

Storm damage

There was a storm the house had no power and screen damage. The rental emailed me but I did not have time to check email. Since I did not respond the agency texted me however I did not get the text until we arrived after over a 3 hour road trip. Told by company charged the full price if we stayed but no power. We left and drove another over 3 hours home. My daughter said over 400 miles and back where we started. This was for my 72 birth day what a sad day. I understand emergencies but there should be a written protocol for how to handle these situations. Rental agency seemed lost as what to do. Such as call the involved people.
