Excellent hotel centrally located in old-town Geneva. It’s basic but does what it advertises extremely well. Single rooms are small, but that is why they are less expensive. Dyson fans in the rooms make up for lack of A/C. I can’t really think of anything lacking at this price point and location.

Rundown

The hotel was in a great area - near Jet D'Eau on Lake Geneva with tons of shopping and restaurants nearby. Unfortunately, the hotel itself was very rundown. Room was small and uncomfortable. Thankfully, we were only there for one night. Would not recommend for any longer than that!

The location is fabulous! Steps from the main shopping streets and Public transportation. Plenty of restaurants, cafes and eateries. This hotel is simple and basic, however, it is a great value. The single rooms are tiny, yet the space is used well. A table with chair, TV a place to lay luggage, several hooks, a small closet with hangers. Firm mattress. The small bathroom also has space for toiletries, hair drier. Small shower but with very good water pressure. Very good breakfast, with scrambled eggs, links, bacon, potato, cold cuts, choice of cheeses, yogurt, choice of cereals, breads, croissant, etc. Delicious coffee. Couple of choices for fruit juice. Pleasant and helpful staff. The roof top terrace has an awesome view of the city. Good to know: the bathroom only has a cream soap in the shower and sink. Any other toiletries you need you will have to bring your own. No shower cap and wash clothes either.

The hotel was perfectly situated for exploring the city (especially old town) on foot but also close to many bus lines and within 20 minutes or so of everything I needed for work in the city. The staff was friendly and helpful, room was clean, and the self-service kitchen was great. The breakfast was very good and had a lot of choices. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Geneva.

Excellent location, helpful staff. The room was small but clean and with a nice balcony. The view was breathtaking, both from the balcony and from the rooftop. When we stayed the lift was broken which my husband didn't mind too much but for me on my own carrying my luggage up four flights of stairs would have been very difficult. I think more effort could have been made with the decor; it was pleasant but plastic. However, it was absolutely ideally located and in the end I would stay there again.

The sound proof system in the room needs to be improved . Every time the guest next to me moved or using the washroom, I could hear it. Also I have asked to have a room not close to the elevator but this was what I got. I did not rest well at all when I was staying there . I found it a bit noisy in the neighbourhood as it’s a lot of traffic on the street where the hotel is located . However the location is excellent and Christopher , the gentleman who worked on the front desk was extremely helpful. Also my room was big so , it is a bonus for staying there.

We are big supporters of Salvation Army. Glad to find out we could help by staying at their hotel. It was just a couple blocks from the cathedral and the Calvin auditorium, plus the wall of the Reformation at Geneva University. Great time in Geneva.

The hotel is in a very good location, very close to the main commercial road. There also bus stops in a short distance. Wi-Fi is fine and there is an excellent breakfast included in the price. However, the room is very small (I rent a single room) and it is expensive.

Bon hôtel mais trop de bruit

L'hôtel est idéalement placé, très propre, le personnel est sympathique, le petit déjeuner très bon avec possibilité si on le souhaite de le monter sur le toit-terrasse avec une sympathique vue sur la ville. Je suis cependant très déçu par l'isolation sonore : on entend tout. Ayant un sommeil un peu léger, j'ai passé une nuit infernale, réveillé au moins une dizaine de fois dans la nuit par des des portes qui claquaient, des gens qui marchaient et parlaient dans le couloir, bref une horreur. Dommage, l'hôtel est top sur les autres points mais quand je prends un hôtel c'est généralement pour bien y dormir...

Stayed for one night to break up journey home,ideal location right in the heart downtown area.shops ,restaurant and sightseeing on your doorstep.the hotel was one off the cleanest I’ve stayed in.staff friendly,very nice breakfast. Only criticism but couldn’t be helped was that the lift is very small.

The location of the hotel was located in the down town core area. With that comes noise which made it hard to sleep. There was no parking at this hotel but not far down the road there was a large covered parkade we could use which the hotel said they had a deal with for guests. All you had to do was show them the card the hotel gave us when paying and you would receive a discount. Never received the discount the first day. Mentioned it to the guy at the hotel desk. He seemed puzzled but didn’t do anything about it. The day we left we even told the attendant at the parkade that we were staying at the hotel and still paid the 20 Swiss francs that the sign said you paid per day. When I booked this hotel on Expedia the price given at that time was not the price I paid per night for the room. I ended up paying 7 francs per night more plus the usual taxes. The breakfast was good. They offered bacon and eggs and hash brown potato along with the usual breakfast items.

Lovely hotel in the perfect location to explore Geneva. Close to the lakefront, easy bus rides around the city. Right in the heart of old town in walking distance to many sites and cafes. Excellent breakfast included.
