"There is a very cozy feel to this hotel. I actually prefer that to a more modern hotel. The pool and hot tub was working and fantastic after way too many miles in a car. The room was clean and very well maintained. I would have no problem staying there again. "

Separate your smoking rooms from non smoking rooms

"The staff was great. The room as clean except tub peeling off a layer of paint. Got a non smoking room which was right next door to a smoking room so you could smell smoke when neighbors smoked especially when they smoked in the hallway plus hallway full of the smell of marijuana from neighbors smoking in their room. I suggest putting your non smoking rooms on separate floors. The walls are thin and heard every word the neighbors said. I"

Great Getaway

"My husband and I stayed at Bertie’s place for the second time and were reminded again of what a great stay this is for us. The house is so well-stocked, so clean, so comfortable, and it makes for a relaxing retreat. With the weather nicer this trip, we did get to sit on the deck and go by the water. We would recommend this stay, and we hope to be back!!"
