Initially we had a couple of problems with heat in the room and our key card did not work but both issues were quickly rectified and we were given a free breakfast in compensation. The breakers were excellent and the room was very comfortable . Location is good just 5 minutes walk to the train / metro station, and only a couple of blocks to all the eateries, shopping, and old city centre.

We stayed one night and enjoyed it very much. It's beautiful modern hotel. Very clean. The staff is excellent , friendly and very helpful. Very nice breakfast buffet with a lot of food varieties. I will highly recomend this hotel to my travel clients.

Our only regret was that we should have stayed longer in hotel Astoria. So impress with the hotel itself how modern, classy and very clean. The staff - very helpful and friendly from the moment we checked in ( we left our bags we arrived too early, went to old town and came back and they brought our bags to our room already). We were so impressed, the hospitality that the crew showed us was beyond compare

This is a fantastic hotel. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful and everything about this hotel is stylish, swish and comfortable. Well located for easy walks to the sights. I wish I had booked more nights to stay because the experience was just wonderful.

Lovely clean hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast. Would definitely stay there again. The lift could do with updating and if they could supply some snacks or food apart from breakfast would be the only improvements to make it complete.

Our experience was Italians are not warm with fuzzy feelings on first sight but at this facility they are! Great staff great service! Love the room and the location was perfect. At lobby staff was extremely helpful organizing a simple walkable adventure by the beach. Just perfection!

If you want the perfect place in Genoa this is it! The staff is wonderful—they are knowledgeable and eager to assist you if you had any questions or difficulties! Andrea is always ready to all he can to make your experience a memorable one! The breakfast is 5 star!! The cleaning staff keeps your room immaculate! It’s centrally located so walking and visiting sites is easy!

Hotel Astoria is a classic style older hotel with beauty and elegance. We loved the marble bar area and were very happy with the reception staff. A unique element was their old style cage elevator with glass enclosed wooden interior. It felt like a classic movie. The staff were quite helpful with locating dining and shopping. Lastly, I loved their buffet breakfast atrium with wonderful food choices.
