“The Royal Hotel is an excellent place to stay in Georgetown. The restaurant on site serves hot breakfast that includes chicken sausages, and items to make a cheese taco. There's lomein, a variety of fruits and vegetables for a picky eater. The room is clean, bed is firm and comfortable. I will continue to stay at this place as long as the standards are kept high”

“the room was very clean, bathroom nicely tiled, and was spacious - hot water to shower was abundant. Parking was good and the owner allowed me to park on the hotel's front driveway. Very close to banks. GRA is one straight drive on camp street. I didn't like the breakfast - only took the breakfast one day - the other days I ate out (not a problem for me)”

“Front desk staff are amazing! That being said, this property should not be opened during this time! During my entire stay from 6/22/26-6-30/26, the hotel had major renovations happening. I’m talking hammer drilling from 8 am to 6 pm, that is heard all throughout the building and in my room. I tried speaking to management but they kept ignoring me. This is not how a business is run! You Guys need to close 592 until this work is finished! You can not have guests staying there while you do this……
