"Stayed one night here and the property was clean, however the inside was a bit run down. Staff at the front counter were very friendly.
I found the rate they charged for the room was high especially considering the condition of the property and the rates offered at other hotels in the area that had more updated rooms for less. They also charged a 4% fee to pay with a credit card which was disappointing. "

Georgetown is a beautiful city. It has all the features of a busy, productive city. I took the opportunity to participate in a tour of the Georgetown area. I learnt the history of various structures and how they were strategically built. Loved it!

It's hot, hot, hot but if you have a guide and someone who knows the roads, it's a great place to visit. Wear comfortable, light clothing and don't miss the seawall

Georgetown has a lot of construction going on at present. However it would be nice if consideration to highlighting places of interest to see and experience in Guyana. We were very much reliant on the helpful staff from GCH hotel on places to visit

Georgetown Guyana is a developing country great place with lovely people and great food and culture.
"Description as a sort of lodge is accurate. More of a traditional building than a modern cookie cutter hotel. My room had lovely dark wood floors and a large covered balcony. Staff were great. Breakfast was excellent. "
"My daughter and I had a wonderful stay at Grand Coastal. The rooms and grounds were bright and clean. Drinks and food were amazing. What made the stay extra special was the staff who are extremely friendly & helpful. Special shoutout to Tiffany at the front desk, Sandy (hostess), Robert (server) who went above and beyond. Big mention to Jashua (server) who was extremely friendly and intuitive making each dining experience special.
Nothing was really within walking distance but Grand Coastal has a driver who will take you places for a fair price. Raj K took us around several times and he was extremely friendly and was a safe driver.
Next time I visit Guyana we will definitely book with Grand Coastal as the service is top notch!"
