Perfect Maine Retreat

We often stop off for a couple of days in midcoast Maine on our way to summer vacation in Nova Scotia. We have friends there and usually have stayed in motels. When I found this house that was available for two nights on Vacasa I showed it to my wife who instantly said "can we stay three nights?' We did and the experience couldn't have been better. Easy booking with Vacasa who were extremely helpful with all the information we needed to make it all easy. This property is one of the most peaceful, quiet places we've ever stayed. Right on Robinhood Cove and no neighbors in sight in any direction. Very comfortable mattresses also which also can be one of my biggest complaints when travelling. We want to go back again and spend a week sometime.

Beautiful and relaxing

The property is very spacious and beautiful surroundings. The home very pretty. The house was VERY well stocked and we appreciated having all detergents, spices, cleaning supplies and bags, toilet paper etc as needed supplied. The air conditioning in master bedroom works VERY well, and the open air throughout the home was perfect (many windows). It was secluded and quiet/peaceful and just very lovely! We played games (lots provided at home) and worked on puzzles and just had a very fun stay. Thank you-perfect! Tom and Tracy

A beautiful location with a private dock. However getting there requires an SUV since the private access road has large potholes. The house itself was dirty with broken items and shabby furniture. Did not meet expectations.

An excellent retreat!

The place was a bit of a splurge for us -- but we found ourselves extremely satisfied with our decision to do so. The location was secluded, tranquil, and well appointed. We cooked in the substantial kitchen, and we enjoyed the passage of each day from the garden/deck/living room which had the perfect orientation toward the water. We recommend the place highly!

Fantastic Place

We really enjoyed staying here. It was everything we expected. There were a couple of things that we wish were a little better. The mattress was very hard and flat. We would of liked to have more wood for the wood burner but all in all it was a wonderful place to stay.

Beautiful lakefront home in the woods

The house was spacious with beautiful views of the lake from two sides. The kitchen was fully equipped for our needs and there was plenty of dining and living seating. The bed and shower were comfortable. We enjoyed this scenic rental!

PEACEFUL OASIS

The rental was perfect for the occasion. When we arrived the house lived up to our expectations. Everything was neat and clean, the beds were made up and there were towels for everyone. The view was spectacular and the house was well built to take in that entire view. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking and entertaining. Notes everywhere on how to use electronics. We can see ourselves coming here again. Thank you so much for sharing your lovely home with us.
