"Great location, easily walkable to plenty of stores, restaurants, and attractions. The room was clean and decent in size, though a bit tight for two people traveling with four suitcases. The biggest downside was the bathroom design. The sink is ridiculously small, and the shelf mounted right above it makes it almost impossible to bend over to wash your face or brush your teeth. On top of that, the shower curtain didn't keep water contained at all, leaving the bathroom floor completely soaked after every shower. Overall, a convenient place to stay, but the bathroom layout definitely needs improvement."

"The room was nice and spacious!! The only issue we had was that the shower did not have anything to contain the water within the shower so the water seeped underneath the door and into our room. I went down to the front desk to get more towels and were very polite and apologetic. The breakfast was decent continental. Overall would recommend."

"I enjoyed my stay so much that I booked another stay after my flight was cancelled. The self-check-in was a breeze, and messages I sent to the staff were promptly answered. The room was immaculate, quiet, very comfortable, and tastefully decorated. The shared bathroom was also immaculate. The free access to laundry facilities was an added bonus. The close proximity to two grocery stores, Bónus and Krónan Flatahrauni, made the well-equipped kitchenette invaluable. The complimentary espresso provided by ASKA was the perfect start to my mornings, especially when paired with a fresh pastry from nearby Bakarameistarinn. And if you want to shake off that Iceland chill, check out Noodle Station for ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL noodle soup. It’s just a 6-minute walk away. One small suggestion: a mirror in the rooms without private bathrooms would be a wonderful addition. I was very conscious of sharing the two bathrooms and didn’t want to occupy one for too long just to do my hair or makeup, so I simply skipped those things during my stay. A room mirror would be a small addition that would make getting ready much easier while also allowing guests to be considerate of others sharing the bathrooms."

"The cottage was very nice and roomy with a view of the Harbour. However, the bedroom is really small and barely any room around the bed so the person at the back would have to crawl over the other person to get out. But loved all the space after smaller hotel rooms in Iceland. Check in was super simple. Note there is not a lot around this area due to the past volcano action. It is close to the Blue Lagoon though, and that is why I picked it. We enjoyed Papa's for pizza but then were sort of out of luck for breakfast on Sunday. There is a kitchen though, so plan ahead if you plan to stay awhile."
