  • We have a two bedroom cabin on ten acres located in Germfask, MI in the heart of the Upper Peninsula. Located with in a mile of the Manistique River which offers excellent fishing and canoeing/kayaking rentals. Located right off the snowmobile & ORV trails. Germfask is next to the Seney National Wildlife Refuge which offers hundreds of acres of trails, bird watching, & natural area.
    Located 10 miles west of Curtis and the Manistique Lakes and right down the road from Round Lake & Luce County park. Centrally located 28 miles east of Manistique, 28 miles West of Newberry. ORV and/or snowmobile to Seney, Curtis, and any connecting trail to Munising, Grand Marais, Newberry and surrounding areas.

Joseph the host did great with communicating, the house was clean and cozy. Beds were clean and comfortable. Perfect for a hunting weekend. Pots, pans, dishes, and cleaning supplies were readily available and worked great for us. Property was clean and well maintained as well! Would absolutely stay here again, perfect for our needs.

The property seemed clean and comfortable. The heating system worked well. We cooked several meals there and enjoyed 4 nights of excellent sleep. We also used the outdoor grill, using wood, and found it easy to use as well. I would definitely stay here again.

Little getaway

It was amazing, beautiful and clean property. The owners were responsive, and it’s hard to beat the location. So many things to do relatively close by, and the stars at night are so clear. I can’t recommend this cabin enough!

Perfect

This is a perfect cabin for our snowmobiling get away. It was important that we were able to bring our elderly dogs that have never been kenneled. It provided a stress free stay. We are very low key people and love the hominess of the cabin. We will definitely return next season.

We spent our anniversary weekend here and had a wonderful time. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils, pots, pans and such. Plenty of blankets and places to hangout. Would return for another weekend getaway.

The Great Northern Stay

Nice place, great location for snowmobiling. Very easy to find and great communication with Joe to answer some questions about the rental and area. Could use some updates, but overall very satisfied with our stay and the cabin.
