「Extremely well maintained historical property and very friendly staff. Breakfast was delicious」

「The the rooms themselves were good, but it felt like the B&B was run by remote control. We stayed two non-consecutive nights in two different rooms in two buildings. The first night, we arrived, and the door code they’d sent for entry into the building was wrong. I called their help line, and got a recording telling me to text them, I did and got a new code that worked. That process was pretty stressful at 10 PM at night. 「This was a clean hotel with comfortable accomodations, but is in need of some updating. One elevator was out of order throughout our stay and a second failed midway through the weekend, leaving only one working during a busy convention. The hallways are in need of updates due to peeling/damaged wallpaper. While not crucial to the average guest, both the hotel and it's staff could benefit from updated safety equipment and preparedness training, as a medical emergency was observed during the...

「There was a staff member on the phone rolling their eyes to us in regards to the callers “life story” when we were checking in. The manager was rude. Upon walking into the rooms we promptly walked out disturbing nothing. They were unwilling to work with us in regards to a refund. I would travel up to the Hotel Gettysburg where we had a phenomenal experience or to the Wyndham hotel outside of Gettysburg.」

「The front desk staff were very friendly. The room offered bigger space than expectations. The whole experience would be better if there is an available free parking lot.」
