Clean, spacious house. Nice shady pool area - so it's great for keeping cool but maybe not the best if you're a real sun-worshipper. Good location for sightseeing around the island by car, and the bus stops right outside the door once an hour, so you could use that instead.Very peaceful as long as your neighbours aren't too noisy - they're all quite close and the sound bounces off the stone walls. Overall a great place to stay

Fantastic Place!

Highly recommend. We looked at many places to stay and chose this one. The home was beautiful and spacious. The pictures don’t do it justice. The management was wonderful. A little short of hot water but they addressed it promptly and kindly. We loved this place and would recommend it to anyone.

Amazing Gozo Getaway

Our stay in Gozo was one of our best trips ever, and this amazing house and the owner's helpfulness played a big part in that. The house is both comfortable and gorgeous. It has all of the basics that you need to cook your own meals, and the Lighthouse grocery is just a pleasant 1 km walk away. The location is wonderful, with beautiful sights around every corner. Points of interest like the Citadel and the Inland Sea are just a short drive away. The owner arranged transport to and from the airport for us, as well as a car rental. They checked in regularly and gave us many excellent suggestions for sights to see and restaurants to try. Their guidance made our visit very relaxing. We hope to come back and stay here again someday. We highly recommend this house!

Fabulous house

Fabulous house in a lovely, quiet spot, although only a 7 minute drive from Victoria on Gozo. Spacious inside with a great pool outside. Property managers were very helpful and responsive.

Great stay, beautiful house

This is an impressive house with beautiful features. The bedrooms are all large with two of them being en-suite, it’s lovely and private and there is a pool which was fantastic and we enjoyed the BBQ too. The bus service is the most ridiculously punctual service dropping you off on your doorstep, every hour. We caught the bus in to Victoria with the children early evening and then got a taxi home after a couple of lovely evenings spent in restaurants / cafe / pubs. The first and second time you use the taxi is half price (cheaper than the bus!). We hired a car and went out each day whether it was to explore a local bay for a swim or getting the ferry across to mainland to explore. Can highly recommend parasailing from St Pauls and we did an excellent cookery day course in Victoria - a real treat away from the kids! Highly recommend this property.

Gozo in spring

This proved to be a great time to visit. Daytime highs were high teens and we found a great afternoon sun trap next to the pool. The village was pretty much empty of tourists so far fewer cars on the roads and no crowds at sights. The Lighthouse grocery store that is a few hundred years away had everything we needed. The house is great, lots of bedrooms and bathrooms. The pool will warm and usable in a few weeks, pretty cool right now. The owners were very friendly helpful and easy to contact.

Spacious and well appointed Gozo farmhouse

The property which adjoins other properties apparently similarly renovated at the same time, retains the charm of Gozo farmhouses while being light and spacious. It is charmingly furnished and well maintained. Easy access by road. The owners were always available and helpful. A recommended holiday let.

Charming property

The property was spotless, the layout and the double hight ceilings gave it a sense of grandeur. Perfect property for a family. The hosts where very professional and always available to answer any queries. I recommend this property as I will surely be there again soon.

Gozo farmhouse: Don’t look any further

If You are in search of a beautiful farmhouse on Gozo with fantastic sandstone architecture, beautiful rural neighborhood only 10 minutes drive from Victoria and very helpful hosts Luisa and Edward, don’t look any further! We had a memorable stay here, well equipped kitchen spacious bathrooms, open fireplace for colder autumne nights and a nice little pool ( if it could be heated, the better). Thank You again Luisa and Edward for Your hospitality, hope to come again. >Rental car is a must but if You have more time, Gozo is accessible by public transport and station is just in front of the house. Excellent stocked grocery nearby: The Lighthouse. Dining: TMUN Mgarr for fish, Bistro MALDONADO in Victoria to mention some

Nice place shame about--

The property was great, the pool was clean, the air con was a bit pricey. We could have done with more towels, one each for a week is not enough and they weren't very good quality. There weren't enough pans or crockery and utensils for the barbecue. The showers are very weak, barely a trickle, apart from these minor irritations I would recommend the villa to anybody who wants to see authentic Gozo. Ta' Pinu is within walking distance and we were privileged to see an open air concert there. Gharb is also within walking distance , with its selection of restaurants and the Rangers bar is a must visit. We will definitely be back before the tunnel is built and Gozo's unique charm is lost forever.

Sehr schönes und sauberes Haus in ruhiger Gegend

Haus ist sehr schön, die Lage ist ruhig. Die Hauptstadt Viktoria ist mit dem Auto in wenigen Minuten zu erreichen. Wir waren 10 Tage dort, in diesem Zeitraum kam einmal jemand zum reinigen und Handtuchwechsel (Francis, sehr freundliche Dame). Das reicht auch völlig aus, schließlich handelt es sich um ein Selbstversorger-Haus. Zwei kleine Kritikpunkte: es wäre schön, wenn die Reichweite des WLAN bis ins Obergeschoss reichen würde. Klappt derzeit nicht durch die dicken Wände. Und es kann draußen schon mal stören, wenn man laute Nachbarn hat. Dies war bei uns an einem Wochenende der Fall, aber da kann der Vermieter schließlich nichts für. Daher: insgesamt alles sehr schön und absolut empfehlenswert.

Vacances de rêve! Gozo est une destination idéale selon nous!

Maison pleine de charme et spacieuse dans un village calme et pas loin de la grande ville de Victoria. Piscine vraiment très appréciée, 3 chambres de bonne taille. 3 salles de bain également. Climatisation possible. Les personnes qui s occupent de l entretien de la piscine et du changement de linge de maison pour un séjour de deux demaines sont vraiment charmantes. Nous avons choisi de bénéficier du service de transfert depuis et vers l aéroport à l arrivée et au départ, très pratique. Location également d une voiture avec climatisation adaptée aux petites routes de l île. Petit supermarché pas très loin. Bref, maison au confort simple mais parfaite pour profiter des vacances!!! Merci merci merci!!!!
