Brilliant holiday

A stunning villa in a wonderful location close to an ideal beach. The owner and staff were excellent. The local people were so friendly. We loved our holiday and would fully recommend staying here.

Excellent Villa

Gibbes Glade is a wonderful villa. The place is very well kitted out, and there are staff in everyday to help maintain a high standard of living. We throughly enjoyed our stay here and would recommend this place. Maria keeps in contact on a daily basis and the manager will check in most days to help with anything too.

Excellent villa with good facilities

This was our 4th stay at Gibbs Glade Villa which really says it all. A very comfortable villa in a great location. Just a few minutes walk and you have your feet it the warm waters of the Caribbean at Gibbs Bay. Mullins Beach and bar 5 minutes walk in the other direction. Great staff, always helpful and nothing is too much trouble. We've already booked for next year.

Simply Stunning Villa

Simply stunning Villa, beautiful open living area with large patio windows that allow the breeze to flow through, each bedroom is spacious beautifully decorated with lovely bathrooms, kitchen had everything you could possibly want. The Gibbs team are wonderful very helpful and kept the place beautifully clean, couldnt ask for more. Would recommend to friends and will definitely be back. Thank you for an amazing holiday.

Perfect Birthday Holiday!

Words cannot describe this beautiful Barbadian villa! From Maria and her constant attentiveness, to the immaculate villa itself, and the entire staff who worked around the clock to make this birthday holiday beyond amazing...thank you!! An amazing place to be

This is an amazing Villa. The location is prime. The beaches are 5 minutes walking distance. The pool is amazing and the deck is grate. The people that service the villa are very professional and friendly. Cant say enough about our experience. We were 8 adults and there was plenty of room for everyone. Will definitely come back. Friday night fish fry is a must.

Great property for a steal

Overall, my stay was fabulous. The place was wonderful..very clean and close to the platinum coastline just walking distance to Mullins. The house is well equipped with everything one could possible need. The bedrooms were big and comfy. The kids enjoyed the pool very much. There were 2 TVs in the house with good internet speed which also kept the kids entertained. The house crew were very pleasant and always tried to please us. Communicating with the owner Maria was also very easy. I will recommend this place and would re-visit.

Beautiful Property, Great Experience!

This house and experience are top notch. From the moment you arrive at the airport to the time you leave the staff are focused on your every need. The house is beautiful, clean, and very comfortable. The pool and outdoor areas of the house are breathtaking! We had chef service 2 nights and wish we did it more. The meals Floyd (house manager/chef/fun specialist) cooked for us were outstanding! He was very knowledgeable on the surrounding areas and actually drove us around when we arrived to point out some hot spots. We cannot wait to return and stay at this villa! Thanks so much for our wonderful experience!

Beautiful well appointed villa

We spent 5 nights at the property and wished we'd been able to stay longer! Extremely spacious, light and airy, the attention to detailin the villa was superb. The bedrooms all had en suite facilities and air conditioning and the laundry provision was of a high standard. Joseph was a very welcoming and helpful manager on hand to meet and greet and resolve any problems ( there were none) and Marcelle visited the villa daily to keep everything in order and change the linen and towels (every couple of days). Gordon was a very informative pool maintenance chap who visited twice during our short stay and gave us some top tips regarding visiting Oistins for the famous Friday night fish fry! Excellent quality and we hope to return, bringing friends with us next time!

Beautiful Villa

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at GGV. Maria was very informative and answered all of our questions and made sure everything we needed for the baby was there when we arrived. The house was spacious and beautiful! The outdoor patio area with pool was amazing also. We grilled and ate many meals out on the beautiful patio. Everything was very well maintained and Natalie did a great job of keeping the house clean for us. Donald and Suzanne were so attentive to us and went out of their way to make sure we got everywhere we needed to, and they even helped plan some outings for us. They are so thoughtful and really personable and were a highlight of our trip. The shortcuts to the beach were great! Can’t wait to return to this beautiful island and villa!

So good we came back!

Another wonderful stay at Gibbs Glade Villa. It really is a home from home and we were so well looked after by Floyd, Jackie and the wonderful Natalie. As always Maria, was most attentive and helpful before and during our stay nothing is ever too much trouble so a huge thank you. The villa is in a secluded area and is so peaceful. It has everything you could wish for to make your holiday special. It is beautiful inside and out. The pool is blissful on a hot Caribbean day with plenty of shade for the non sun worshippers. The wildlife visiting the garden gives plenty of photo opportunities to take home(who needs to see the green monkeys being fed at welchmans hall gully when you have your own troop come by most afternoons). I can’t recommend Gibbs Glade Villa ,it’s owners and management company highly enough ......you just need to come and experience it yourself. Oh , and the island is pretty good too! 😉 We will be back and maybe bring the grand kids next time. Once again thank you Markku and Maria

Fabulous vacation villa

We just returned from a week at GGV with our three teenagers and had a wonderful time. From the beginning the owner, Maria, was very responsive to all our questions and took great care in helping us with all the details of our trip. She had great suggestions about where to go for excursions we were interested in, arranged our car rental and fast pass, and the transfer to and from the airport was wonderful. The house has everything you could ever need and there is enough room for everyone to have some space as well as wonderful gathering spaces for everyone to be together, perfect for our family!! Inside the house is very tastefully decorated with a full kitchen, comfortable beds and plenty of bathrooms. Outside has something for everyone, lovely covered patio for those seeking shade and lots of space and seating options around the pool. The pool was great, we all enjoyed it daily! The location of the house is perfect being just a few minutes walk to two different beaches as well as some restaurants and bars. If you want to go little further the bus stop is also a short walk and busses run very frequently all day. The staff at GGV was exceptional. Floyd picked us up at the airport and when we arrived at the house we were greeted by Jackie and Jayne. Floyd and Jackie took care of everything we needed and Jayne kept the house perfectly clean. They were all very helpful and friendly and were available anytime we had questions but gave us plenty of space to enjoy our vacation. We would definitely stay here again and recommend GGV for a vacation rental.

Fabulous property has everything you could want, great staff, great location, great pool and outdoo

The villa is equipped with all you would need & want and serviced on a very regular basis. Maria organised everything brilliantly including airport fast track, transfers, food delivery, restaurant booking and great advice. We booked a wine delivery with Wine World, Hole Town which was delivered and placed in refrigerator prior to our arrival (thanks guys). Location is excellent with a short walk (5-10min) to Gibbs beach which is unspoilt with bars, etc. You can walk (north) to Mullins beach quite safely along road (20mins) or via beach subject to tides and happy to get feet wet. A little further on is Bombas restaurant, great food and location for sunset but you must book. Anything further afield you need to catch a bus, taxi or drive. A must have experience is the Regi Regi yellow bus with its music and “Lewis Hamilton” drivers! Booked Goodtimes Catamaran to go snorkelling with Turtles and visit the wreck which was fabulous and a great experience, the crew really looked after us including the rum punches! We were picked up directly from Gibbs beach (via the tender) so no messing around with transport, with a rep. meeting us prior sort payment and make sure all was smooth. Visited Lone Star Restaurant (15min Taxi) on last night which was great but the area is littered with quality restaurants to suit all tastes including Fishermans Pub in Speightstown (15mins on RR bus). We cannot speak highly enough about the villa and staff and would certainly recommend it to all types of parties.

2 wks in paradise at a beautiful home away from ho

Our 2 weeks stay at the Gibb Glade Bay was exceptional. The property was perfect – beautiful mountain view, the home is so very well appointed and so welcoming. There is just the best tropical breeze that flows through the house from front to back…feel refreshing. The house was very well equipped and extremely well located with just a few minutes’ walk to a beautiful Mullin beach. The bedrooms are spacious and all have their own bathrooms, big bonus. The house is supplied with good quality towels, linen, beach towels and it a home away from home. The kitchen is nice and big and fully stocked with everything that we needed and everything was spotless. Common areas are great and spacious. The backyard was a haven for us all…. It is the one place we’d spend most of our time. Again a beautiful view, the ground were meticulously kept, very clean, beautiful and good size pool for us all to enjoyed.. I myself spend every morning meditated and took in the beautiful, warm fresh air on the patio. Some of us spend all night out by the patio and reminisced and watched the sunrise. The house is clean and well maintained by Marcella and Joseph. Both are super nice, helpful and amazing. They are there for whatever our needs may be. The wifi worked amazing! Truly a great place to stay and a great experience! We will be back! The only negative I could find is the place could probably use better lighting in the kitchen ;). I would suggest this place to any and every one. Great find!

Wonderful 2 Week Stay

We have recently returned from a 2 week holiday at GGV. Upon arrival the house was immaculately maintained and was better than the pictures show. The pool and surroundings were excellently maintained. The BBQ was great, and we cooked on it most nights when we didn't go out for dinner, enjoying the large veranda. The highlight of being around the pool was a visit by a troop of monkeys one afternoon causally strolling along the fence. Gibbs Beach was a short walk and always nice and quiet. Mullins Beach although closer was a lot busier and more touristy, but the local rum punch was excellent so worth a visit just for that! Would highly recommend Tides, Lone Star and Cin Cin for dinner, and the Cliff Beach Club for lunch. Oistins Friday Fish Fry in our opinion is a night not to be missed but go open minded (we ate at Pat's place and thoroughly enjoyed it). Another must do is a catamaran trip - we used Silvermoon and had a brilliant day. Great crew, great boat, great food and drink. Swimming with the turtles was an amazing experience for the whole family. The reason we have given 4 out of 5 is purely because we felt that air conditioning would be a valuable addition to the main living area. This would allow the doors to be kept shut and hopefully the mosquitoes at bay, as we did all suffer from multiple bites whilst in the house. This would not deter us from returning to GGV in the future. Maria is an absolute star, with quick responses throughout, especially with arranging fast track security, transfers, shopping and any other queries we had. Barbados and GGV you were a delight and we had a fantastic time.

Superbly appointed West Coat Villa

We stayed at Gibbs Glade Villa for 11 nights from December 27th 2017 this was our 9th trip to Barbados and our second stay in the Gibbs Glade area, we found communication from Maria the owner excellent at all times from the initial booking to our arrival, Maria was very professional throughout and always responded quickly to our emails, we opted for the Grantley Adams fast track package upon arrival at the airport, we had not done this before and were impressed by how it speeded up the process of passing through immigration this was also arranged by Maria as was our car hire which based on previous experiences was very well priced. We were collected by Floyd the joint villa manager from the airport which we thought was a great idea and saved having to collect a hire car and drive up the West Coast in the dark after a long flight, the hire car was delivered to the villa the next morning making life hassle free. We thought the villa was excellent and very well appointed, Natalie who was very nice kept the place clean and tidy throughout our stay on a daily basis. For us the location is excellent up near Mullins beach and only a short car ride to Holetown or Speightstown perfect for the local restaurants of which there are plenty within a five / ten minute drive along with a handful of great beaches. Although only two of us stayed here the place is easily big enough for two families, we liked or rather I liked the cable tv in the separate tv room which showed all the English football games allowing me to watch three games that I would of otherwise missed, the super king bed with a decent mattress was also a good touch and all the bathrooms were in good order. Outside the gardens are mature with great palm trees surrounding the property and a lovely pool. We would not hesitate to stay here again or recommend Gibbs Glade Villa it is very much as per the Photos / description. Matt & Elisa

Second visit

This is our second visit to Gibbs Glade Villa and yet again we were not disappointed. For us the villa is like home from home. Comfortable in every way with everything you need. This villa is in a perfect location with only a 5 minute walk to one of the best beaches on the island (Gibbs Beach).
