Gibraltar Romantic Hotel

"Although we were aware that the hotel was closing we still expected 4 star accommodation as that is what we paid for. The pool and terrace area were in a very bad state of disrepair and the pool area unusable. We asked for an upgrade to a sea view as there road works at the front of the building and therefore noisy but were told ( 6 hrs after asking and having to ask again)that no rooms were available although the hotel was clearly far from busy. "Fabulous yacht hotel. Clean, comfortable with excellent bars and restaurants. Staff very friendly. Only 15 minutes walk from the airport too. Surrounding Marina also has a great selection of restaurants etc. plus easy access to Main Street and the excellent bus network. Was a shame the pool bar was closed for renovation but I’m sure it’s great when open."

"Period property with character. Old building can restrict spaces but location is superb and the views amazing, day and night. Restaurant food is excellent."
