The apartment was really comfortable and the location was very quiet. The hosts are super friendly, the bed was very co fortable and tne kitchen was well appointed. We'd definitely stay there again.

Great hosts, lovely setting, well appointed space.

Very friendly, helpful hosts who provided lots of info about the area. Quiet spot, well located in Gibsons and very spacious for two people - one of us used the bedroom, the other the living room pull out and we were both very comfortable. Deck was great to sit out on and admire the view. Hosts have thought of anything you might need from kitchen gadgets to board games. I would stay here again in a heartbeat - hope I get a chance to return soon.

Great time in Gibson’s

Very grateful to have found this wonderful spot so close to many great beaches and downtown Gibson’s. The hosts were kind and accommodating- checking in to make sure we had all we needed and to help us with directions, if need be. We particularly appreciated the kitchen space to make nice meals. Thank you so much!

The very descriptive 5 star review two years ago, "Spacious and peaceful" by Chris B., is still spot-on. I'll add that we had one young adult sleeping on the pull out sofa bed (said it was fine), and a loaf of bread we bought at the SuperValu supermarket bakery was unexpectedly amazing.

Great hosts, great rental

Michael and Marilynne we're, hands down, the most helpful hosts I've ever encountered in years of staying at vacation rental properties. Noting my mobility concerns when I arrived, they unpacked everything in my car and carried it all down the outdoor stairs to the rental suite for me! The suite is clean, well stocked with the basics and very comfortable. It has its own huge deck and a view out to the water. I couldn't be happier with my choice of rental!

Gibsons Getaway

The owners were friendly and helpful. They let us have an early check-in, which we appreciated immensely. The suite was spacious and clean. A nice big deck with view and very private. I highly recommend this stay!

Great Getaway! good location and friendly hosts

Marilyne and Michael were very attentive to our needs before and after arrival. We got good tips from them on places to see, restaurants to enjoy, etc.Very friendly. The house is spotless, secluded enough, and close to town, to the beaches, and good restaurants. We enjoyed our 5 night stay very much.

Peace, Quiet & Hospitality

We had a wonderful stay at this peaceful, spacious place that was perfect to relax! A great starting point to explore the many beaches, trails and lakes of the Sunshine Coast. There were trails to the close-by beach and a fun playground was a 10-minute walk away - our daughter loved the great deck with its views of ocean and deer. Marilynne and Michael were such friendly and welcoming hosts. Very accommodating and helpful - einfach super nett! We look forward to coming back. Thank you!

Beautiful!

We had an excellent stay. Marilyn and Michael were gracious and accessible hosts and the property was excellent for us as a family. Location is outside of Gibson's proper, but that was preferable for us with easy access to nearby grocery stores. We had a lovely stay, enjoying the wide balcony, full, well stocked kitchen and the living areas. The property was very clean, well decorated and had everything that we could possibly need. Thank you!

LOVELY HOLIDAY ON THE SUNSHINE COAST!

While staying at The Heights Hideaway in Gibsons, we (my son, daughter, and myself) enjoyed an eight day rest and recreation vacation on the Sunshine Coast. Restaurants, shops, farmers market, and scenic ocean walks, were only a very short drive away from the rental suite. We also hiked at Cliff Gilker Park (twenty minutes away), canoed with Pedals and Paddles (forty minutes drive) and took the informative Princess Louisa Boat Tour (Egmont, about ninety minutes drive) via Sechelt, to spectacular Chatterbox Falls. Definitely worth it! Marilynne and Michael were warm, inviting hosts, helpful with information and attentive to our needs. The suite was spacious and consistently cool even on warmer days. It had everything we needed for our stay and was quiet and private. Due to the smoke, it was not clear to see any ocean view from the deck, however, we still enjoyed the beautiful and peaceful forest view before us. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit.
