Amazing Vacation & Stunning Views

Our party of 6 had an amazing stay at The Whale’s Tale. The back yard is spectacular and the deck provides stunning views of Henderson Bay and Mt Rainier. The house itself was a perfect fit for us - super clean and well appointed, great kitchen for cooking, enough comfy space for 6 guests, gas grill, laundry. We enjoyed down time relaxing at the house and were close enough for day trips to Seattle, Mt Rainier and a trip to the San Juan islands. Our hosts couldn’t be more accessible!! Lauren responded to my many questions pre-booking and during our stay. Our family would highly recommend a stay at The Whale’s Tale.

We will be back!

We loved this home. It didn’t feel like a rental at all. The house was beautiful and the views of Henderson Bay and Mt Ranier were unbelievable. Easy walk to the beach and so lovely to walk near the bay. The kitchen fully equipped as well as the rest of the house. But my favorite part was the gardens! Oh my, the hydrangeas were unbelievable! It was obvious that the owners took care of the grounds. We enjoyed the fire pit and the outdoor furniture-including the hammock and swinging rope chair. Hosts were easy to connect with and walked me through a few things I couldn’t figure out. I have never been to a rental home with houseplants. Lots of attention to detail Thank you for sharing your home with us!
