“Fantstic house in the gorgeous Caporotono area close to Pisticci, 25 minutes from the beach. The accomodation exists of a main house (kitchen, living room, master bedroom) and two smaller units (both double bedrooms with their own entrance and private bathroom). Two outside showers and a lovely garden with a large covered terrace. The whole accomodation is beautifully designed throughout, the kitchen is fully equipped with all basics (oil, vinegar, salt, etc) provided. It's close to the main……

“Der Pool ist riesig und das Personal sehr freundlich. Deutsch spricht hier niemand, aber die meisten können so weit Englisch, dass man sich verstängigen kann. Die Apartments sind groß und wir hatten auch eine wunderschöne große Loggia, die wir sehr genossen haben. Allerdings sind die Apartments nicht besonders schön eingerichtet, und bei uns kam auch der Putz von der Schlafzimmerwand. Dafür fand ich das Doppelbett sehr bequem, allerdings waren die Schlafsofa selbst für die Kinder……

“Die Lage des Hauses ist sehr schön, leider stört der ständige Autolärm der direkt am Haus vorbei führenden Schnellstraße. Die Spielgeräten für die Kinder im Garten sind leider sehr ungepflegt und teilweise defekt, sogar sehr gefährlich für die Kinder. Was uns aber wirklich sehr gestört hat sind die Bäder, leider konnten wir aufgrund starker Geruchsbelästigung ein Bad überhaupt nicht benutzen und bei zwei anderen Bädern kam nur sehr spärlich Wasser an der Dusche, ein angenehmes Duschen war leider……

“We really enjoyed our stay and couldn't fault it. The property was well equipped with everything we needed and spotlessly clean. Angela was very friendly and provided us with good suggestions of where to visit and where to eat. We travelled to many of the villages and towns she recommended and loved Basilicata. A car is necessary if you want to enjoy all that is on offer. We hope to stay again sometime in the not too distant future as there is much we would still like to see and places we would……

“We are two young families who booked this wonderful property to use as a home base for traveling around together in Southern Italy and we are so glad we did. The home's proximity to Matera is perfect as it was only a 10 min drive and we were able to explore the city daily (the owner's recommendations for dining and sites were spot on) and then return to the expansive property and enjoy wine and the breathtaking sunsets while the kids played in the huge pool. The home is extremely well laid out……

“All we can say is that the pictures looked great and cozy but the actual location is far more impressive being located right next to the 2nd most important church in Taranto. We opened the window and looked out side and was blessed with seeing the church right there, the sounds of the street of people walking by it all comes together for that romantic get away. We shut the window and the stonework of the building made it quiet only by something substantial can make. Francesca the owner was kind……

“The host was very responsive, and the place was very clean. I wish we knew about a few things before we rented a place for the month; - There’s a service fee that we had to pay assuming like a resort fee that we were unaware of until we got to the unit. This was paid in cash. - We rented this unit because it had kitchenette. We made good use out of the mini fridge. However, unless we had all the lights, turned off the air conditioning, turned off, etc.. We were unable to use the burner stove……

“Abbiamo trascorso 11 notti in uno degli appartamenti di Terre del Faro a Scanzano Jonico, e devo dire che è come se fossimo stati a casa nostra. La struttura si trova vicino al mare, raggiungibile in 5 minuti di auto. L'appartamento risulta molto confortevole, tranquillo e silenzioso. Giusy e suo padre sono gentilissimi e vi sapranno fornire ogni indicazione e informazione utile per la vostra vacanza. Se torneremo da queste parti sicuramente Terre del Faro sarà nuovamente la nostra "base" per……

“Schönes kleines und gemütliches Häuschen, allerdings ausbaufähig. Für 4 Personen ist es zu klein. Die Lage ist sehr schön und zenteal.”

“Posto molto tranquillo e piacevole ricavato in un casolare in campagna. Arredamento turistico base ma completo. Vicino al mare anche se serve la macchina visti i 2-3km di distanza, cosa comunque non problematica per gli ampi parcheggi gratuiti (e totalmente vuoti a fine luglio) dei lidi vicini. Mare bello sabbioso ma non super-trasparente come potrebbe essere puglia o sardegna.”

“Very comfortable and nicely updated. On the small size but good enough size for 2 people. Parking available so that was a nice for being in the old town. Kitchen could be better equipped if you plan on cooking. Montescagliosa is a charming mountain town and a nice change from nearby towns with more tourists than locals walking the cobbled streets.”

“Séjour très agréable, la résidence est magnifique et très bien entretenue. L'appartement dispo d'une terrasse couverte qui devient une vraie pièce de vie en été car protégée de la chaleur. Marina di Pisticci est au calme et assez proche des endroits à visiter (2h de route max). La seule difficulté pour nous qui ne parlons pas italien a été la communication car nous avons croisé très peu de gens capables de comprendre et/ou parler une autre langue que l'italien.”
