"Nous avons reçu un excellent accueil de la part de Sophie et Laurent. Situé dans un petit hameau au calme, le gîte est très agréable et dispose de tout ce qui faut. Nous avons pu profiter du jardin et des animaux venant nous rendre visite ... Laurent nous a donné de nombreux conseils et idées de balades aux alentours, nous permettant de découvrir et d'apprécier plus encore leur beau Cantal. Ce fût trop court et nous comptons bien revenir dans cette charmante arche de Noé. Valérie et Laurent "

"Malcolm and Vivian where very welcoming and helpful. The views are amazing and the location is very peaceful. The house is beautiful and quirky, although if you like to cook for yourselves, the kitchen is a little short on utensils. We improvised! We had a problem with the cooker and Malcolm had it replaced the next day! We would definitely stay again."

"The town of Murat was better than expected. Small cobblestones streets, old, charming houses. Many shops, cafes, restaurants. The nature around town is perfect for hikers and mountain bikers. Murat is also on the Circuit des Monts du Cantal The apartment was big enough for 4 people. Appliances are not recent but functional Overall clean but a coat of fresh paint wouldn’t hurt."

The appearance of th hotel upon arrival gives little credit for how comfortable the rooms are and how pleasing the restaurant is. "A friendly and helpful welcome to the Hotel and soon booked into our room and explained where to park our vehicle once we had unloaded. The hotel has a very traditional feel downstairs, charming. The corridors and the rooms themselves were decorated in a very dark scheme, which even with the lights on was a little difficult to always see well.
