"Clean, cozy spot to get away. Hosts are responsive and helpful. I would definitely take their suggestion #14 on their welcome letter to the hiking trail and all the food suggestions are on par (with many walkable from cottage). This may turn into a yearly destination for us."

"The home is very tastefully decorated, extremely clean and the setting was idyllic. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay for our weekend. The layout of the house was perfect. The covered deck was like an additional living room for us. Be sure to bring water shoes for the lake. It's nice and shallow at the house but the rocks are plentiful and slippery."

"My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was a perfect fit for us. We liked the wooded lot and quiet location, yet it allowed easy access to all of the things we wanted to do. We visited Sleeping Bear Dunes at multiple locations to hike, beachcomb, and enjoy the Fall colors. Frankfurt and Empire were not far away. The cottage had all of our needs covered. We really enjoyed the fireplace. The property description is accurate and we highly recommend it."

"Loved staying at the little green cottage…best of both worlds with the privacy of being in the woods (including deer who walked through the backyard each morning) and a completely renovated cottage with all of the amenities…I was especially impressed with how well stocked the kitchen was. "We were a family, one 50 y.o. and 3 in their 20's. Communication with the house managers was easy and pleasant. The house is right on the water making for wonderful views. It is also close to town and all the outdoor activities you want and short trip to Traverse City. Everything we needed and expected was provided. We can highly recommend this house for your stay."

"My friend and I wanted to get away for the weekend to catch up, so we decided to go with this cabin. It was perfect for what we needed - super cozy, the beds were comfortable and clean. The only complaint I have as far as cleanliness was the amount of dog hair that was on the couch/living area. Otherwise it’s a great location right next to downtown! I would recommend."

"We stayed as a group for wine tasting in Traverse City area. The location was perfect. The cottage is right on beautiful Duck Lake. We were able to enjoy mornings sipping hot coffee, watching the majestic sunrise over the lake from the cozy sunroom. "We had a great stay. Check in/out was easy and the house was clean and tidy. Even though it was 15 degrees outside, there is a breakfast nook in the kitchen with a full view of the bay, and we spent a lot of time there enjoying the view. One thing to note is that the bed was quite stiff, which we didn't like."

"finally visited Traverse City for the first time, stayed here and enjoyed our time. It was only about 20 to 25 minutes away from downtown Traverse City. It was also a short drive to sleeping Bear dunes national Park, which was fun. Troy was very responsive to texts and emails and definitely went out of his way to make sure that our stay was comfortable and met our expectations. there was even a nice gift package with Thanksgiving cooking supplies waiting for us when we got there. Would recommend...

"We arrived at check in time and we were greeted by Adam who was trying to accommodate a woman who said had a reservation but did not. After another employee took over the lady without reservations Adam took care of us and was very helpful and quite friendly. Our room was on the second floor, but it was very nice and worth the climb. The hotel was centralized to everything we wanted to do and see. The only bad thing with our trip was that Traverse City decided to tear up the main road To get to front Street, which is the center of their downtown district. It was very difficult to navigate to visit their downtown shopping but once navigated it made for a great weekend. I will return here in the future price was very reasonable, and the service was outstanding."
