“I did a last minute booking, and it was a good choice. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious. The bed was softer than I am used to, but I slept well. The shower took a couple of minutes to get hot, but once it did, it was nice. I had supper there, and it was very good, as was the made-to-order breakfast. There is a nice lounge area to sit and have a drink. Spey Beach was a short drive away, and was a nice “pebble” beach walk. ”

“Jodie is a friendly, hospitable host. Their family property is a beautiful, comfortable establishment. It is quiet, incredibly clean and well kept. The morning breakfast was delicious. Highly recommend for anyone to stay at Craigellachie. If you are wanting an evening meal, go down the hill to the pub. Also delicious and very affordable. “The property is a gem and great choice for our stay in the Speyside area. Parking is available right across the street, and the hotel is within 10-15 mins drive from a number of distilleries and the Speyside cooperage. Staff are very friendly and we had an amazing time during our stay. “We visited during a heatwave. Hotel only 2 minutes from a beautiful sandy beaches. Went there every morning and evenings during our two nights stay. It is a traditional Scottish hotel so unfortunately did not have air-conditioning, but we didn't expect to have that, and it did not effect our enjoyment. Room was well equipped, with coffee pods etc, and kettle. Large 42 inch tv. Staff very friendly. ”
