“Motel 6 in Danvers was exactly what I needed. Clean room, hard floors(no carpet to mess up. The service was friendly and they even helped me up off the ground when I fell. I’m in a motel 6 in Virginia tonight and the person that checked me in was not friendly and didn’t give me directions to my room.”

“This historic hotel had a modern interior that did not disappoint. The fireplace in our room kept us cozy at night. Daily breakfast and sweet treats and warm cider in the afternoon were wonderful. The staff used texts to communicate with us to ensure we had everything we needed. As soon as you step out of the Merchants front door you are footsteps from restaurants, shops and local attractions. 10/10 recommend. I will definitely stay here again!”

“The inn was beautiful with gorgeous rooms!! The staff was so helpful and always interacting with guests. Was sad to leave after the most relaxing stay. ”

“Room was clean, wish the restroom had a fan, but the bed was very comfortable. We appreciated the chocolate on the pillows and bottled waters. The staff was very friendly and the common area was also nice to have with a microwave, coffee machine and refrigerator to use. Parking is free after 8pm and Sundays so that was helpful with a Saturday night stay. Quicker to take an Uber to visit Salem in October! Would highly recommend. ”

“The room was great- exactly as described. The gentleman owner was kind - lived on the premises and spent a lot of our stay mowing the lawn and working in the gardens. Would be a bit uncomfortable for femme people traveling alone, but a good set up for people looking for conversation or company. ”

“The Silsbee Suite was lovely! Its def just for 1 or 2 ppl even though the kitchen is huge there is only 1 queen bed and a couch. You also habe acess to your own private patio but we were out all day and didnt really utilize that. This property is in walkimg distance to everything you need to get to and see in Salem. It is an old house and you can hear EVERYTHING! Even the other guests if they sneeze or laugh so just be aware of that. I would def stay again ”

“What a unique stay! The free parking and breakfast was a bonus- but a really convenient one. The property is super walkable to all the things, but quiet and safe. The staff was really helpful and friendly. It was a nice historic property, it was a lucky find!”
