"After a couple of years of health issues and a ling school year this was the perfect place to chill. Out in the country ,but close enough for shopping, Granbury Opera House to see Newsies, dinner and of course shopping. Perfect for lazy mornings and afternoon naps. I want to come back and bring our basset to roam the property."

"Very clean, decorations were darling and quite appropriate for the cabin’s rustic theme. The owner had many things available that weren’t things you would expect. The sheets were SO nice and soft. Also there were reading materials that were interesting. I was able to bring my papillon dog, which put the icing on the cake! And he was the family I brought with me."

"This property is AMAZING!!! In town but you feel completely secluded, and the longhorns are a great touch! We loved the peacefulness of the swing in the back yard and the rustic elegance of the cabin! The tub in the outhouse is a GREAT touch as well as the amazing walk-in shower and bathroom that is built on to the back porch. We will definitely be visiting again this fall! 10/10 Recommend!!"

"Positive: there was more than enough towels. The A/C was on so it was nice to get in after a long drive. No smells on anything. Pillows were super clean. Nice shade to park the truck. Close to everything. There was coffee, filters, sugar, salt and pepper. Negative: bed sheets were really old and cheap polyester. There was cockroach poop in the dirty microwave (I didn’t see poop or roach signs anywhere else). The floor was sticky (could be the kind of cleaner used). The shower tub thing needs to...

"Came out for a little fasting and self reflection. This was the perfect location. I loved the fact that there was no TV to distract me. Just me and nature. "We very much enjoyed our stay of 2 nights. My 86 mother and I wanted to fish and this rental had easy access to a wonderful dock. Everything we needed was provided and more. The bedrooms are nice, 2 king beds a plus. The only missing upgrade would be in the bathroom in the front of the home. The shower is old and showerhead was way too short for anyone over 5’9. I did not go in the other bathroom so can’t speak to that one."
