However, upon arrival, we found that the sheets and bathroom rugs had not been properly cleaned, and there were no extra linens available. This caused a significant delay in settling in late at night. Management was responsive and refunded the cleaning fee, but I strongly recommend ensuring the cleaning is done thoroughly before guest arrival.」

Pan selection was a bit limited (can’t bring your own due to having an invection stovetop) and only plastic wine glasses available (makes sense for when down by water), so if you’re a wine snob, bring your own glassware. 」

「We spent the New Years holiday at Salty Bear cabin and had a lovely stay. While the cabin is charmingly rustic, it was not lacking in modern comforts. The heating worked well. Kitchen was well-appointed. Beds were cozy. Shower pressure was strong. Hot tub was perfect. There was one problem that came up at the beginning of our reservation but Renee handled it perfectly and didn’t allow it to ruin our stay.
