Hunter Valley Rural Lodge - Quaint towns, State forests & Wineries to explore!

The Wattle Lodge - Est 2013, is self contained accommodation, located on a 100 acre grazing property held by the owners family since the 1850' s in the idyllic Glendon Brook district near Singleton, in the heart of the Hunter Valley.
2 hours drive from Hornsby -Sydney.

The eco friendly Lodge provides all the comforts with 2 bedrooms (Queen and twin) with ensuites for up to 4 guests, kitchenette, dining and living area. Designed to bushfire and ESD standards, with solar hot water and rainwater tanks.
A deck to relax on with a fully equipped Webber BBQ, whilst taking in the breathtaking views of the rolling hills and countryside and incredible starry skies to view at night!

No parties allowed and please respect the neighbours and all noise must be kept to a minimum. Quiet after 9.30pm.

Guests MUST ask permission before walking on the farm!

DOG STAYS are available by request and of approval for well behaved, immunised dogs and all care and responsibility must be taken by the dog owners at all times.
Dogs are allowed inside under supervision and not allow to stay inside without their owners.
There is a fully fenced a secure fenced dog playground area (250 m2 in size) with a large dog kennel located next to the Lodge ,extra towels and an outdoor hose.
Just bring your dog's lead, Crate/bed, toys and food!

Please check with owners before bringing your dog and read "Dog Rules" on our website. 2 dogs allowed only.

Take a picnic and visit the Barrington Tops National Park, Allyn River State Forest or visit historic Morpeth, Paterson and Dungog. SO MUCH TO SEE and DO!!
Local tour operators are available to take you and your dog on a tour of the wineries/cheese and chocolate tastings.

Relaxing stay 2 hrs from Sydney

We really enjoyed our short stay at this beautiful place. It was a perfect escape from busy Sydney, relaxing and peaceful. Our two Aussie Shepherds loved it too. Host made sure we have everything we need and shared some local knowledge about the area. Lots to explore and see, but nice to come back to the property at watch the sunset too. Already planning another trip!

Beautiful relaxing stay

A short but so sweet stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our one night stay at The Wattle. Such a peaceful location with a beautiful open view across the country lands to mountain ranges. Home Away From Home

Fabulous little cottage with everything you need to enjoy a magical and comfortable stay. The hotel quality mattress and crisp white sheets were a real treat. Winn is lovely and very accommodating. Unfortunately it was raining most of the time and very wet underfoot so couldn't enjoy the outdoors at all.

Wattle Lodge -

Wattle Lodge is everything promised by the hosts, and more. The Lodge is beautifully presented. We loved walking on the hills, relaxing BBQ’s on the verandah, watching the kangaroos, grazing cattle and bird life, playing our guitars on the verandah by night - just us, the night sky and a red wine. Winn and Roger are wonderful hosts, keen to help in any way possible, and share their knowledge of local history. We’re looking forward to returning in 2022.

Heavenly get away

Clean, quiet and peaceful location. Everything you need supplied. Hosts friendly and helpful. Wonderful facilities for the dogs withsafedog run. Fantastic bed, sitting on the deck with a wine on the lounge so comfortable. Everything as advertised and more. Will be returning soon. Definitely recommended for a weekend away or a week. Love the place.

Get away for a relaxing escape. Perfectly located away from the rush but still close enough to everything we wanted to do. Great accomodation and friendly owners. 10/10 would stay again.
