“The accomodation was very comfortable and close to city. We loved to hear the trains going past. Being 4 elderly ladies who are not familiar with technology we would have found it helpful if there had been printed directions to operate the television. However we were very satisfied with our stay in lovely Castlemaine.”

“Wonderful despite the rainy weekend. The tiny house was cosy with a toasty fire, or diesel heater when we wanted instant heat. The shower was hot, the bed comfy. Our hosts made sure we could get across the paddock to the tiny house when it was looking too damp for our car to make the journey in the wet. At night the stars were clearly visible from our own private river valley, complete with our own outside fire place beside the river. We took advantage of a tasty breakfast from the main house……

“Lovely cosy property, perfect for a night away with the girls. Loved that it had 4 single beds and a queen so we all had our own bed. Big couch in the living area to fit us all on was also a bonus. ”

“Small but comfortable for 2 adults. The entrance to the cottage needs to be cleaned up and made more presentable. Oven tray would be extremely helpful when heating food. ”

“Great property for a large group of friends. Large backyard- and great weather on the weekend for us to enjoy it. Beds very comfortable. Not great if you don't like stairs- but a good workout”

“The house is gorgeous. The host has created a real homage to its history, but blended with modern comfort. If you're visiting as a tourist to The Goldfields, you'll find it perfectly situated. We found that our host had thought of everything we could possibly need and responded swiftly to any queries. ”
