"The room was decent for what we needed. It was nice to have coffee & real cups provided. The room wasn’t super clean (dusty coffee pot), but clean enough. Very friendly staff. "

"Can't best this view!! Room faces Lake Superior. You can walk out of the hotel and right onto the walking path along the lake shore. Room was very large and clean. Even though we were on a hall with a hockey team, we didn't hear any noise! Very restful and quiet. Enjoyed 2 hot tubs, so they didn't seem crowded. Like breakfast with variety."

"This place is an absolute gem. I will absolutely be coming back. The furnishings are incredibly high-quality. You absolutely are staying in a mansion. The room was adorable. It has a giant soaking tub with plenty of hot water and a gas fireplace that was lit when I walked in, they provided snacks freshwater it was absolutely what my tired mind needed. If you are a partner to a mother with young children absolutely buy her a midweek night here to just sit in the tub in silence I swear to God, it will extend the length of her life."

"Fantastic room, furniture and bed comfortable and newly remodeled; easy directions and parking. Really reasonable rates for such a gorgeous historical property. Staff was not on premises but probably more accessible than typical hotel staff in a regular hotel. Very responsive via text (or phone call); friendly - helpful"

"Hotel is very nice. Stayed in a king room with a view of the harbor. The room was spacious, clean and had a refrigerator and microwave. Breakfast was good also. The hotel is very clean and well cared for. We would stay again."
