Independent Glenwood Springs hotels

"What a lovely hotel. The highlight absolutely has to be the employees. We travel a lot following our son while he plays baseball and we’ve experienced lots of different types of “service and cleanliness”. Apparently there’s a bit of confusion on what those things mean. The folks that work at this hotel are ALL so kind, service minded, welcoming, people we’ve encountered. The room was clean, furniture and carpet are dated but in perfect condition. The bed was comfortable, but let’s talk about...

"My wife & I stayed one night at the Silver Spruce as part of a long trip, and wish we had been able to stay longer - perhaps wwe'll be able to do so the next time we are traveling on I-70. The place was squeaky-clean, the staff extra friendly, and the location beautiful. Also, the price was excellent."

"Fun pool for the kids, mine had a blast. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Lobby has a nice feel. We are going to the caverns and will be able to take the gondola up right outside the hotel. It has been a good stay so far."
