"Shower only had hot water about half the time, then lukewarm. This is an older hotel with very small bathroom and dated. For the price, expected better. Beds were comfortable though. Hotel does not have its own parking and the lot behind was full on Friday evening, but was able to park across the street."

"Nice clean hotel. Reasonable price. Comfortable bed and good view of the city and Chinatown from the window. The parking was challenging, because it is a busy area, but we found a spot for 18.99 at the Chinatown parking lot. It was perfect."

"We had an issue when checking in. Our flight was delayed due to weather and we arrived after midnight. I messaged the hotel on the Expedia app to let them know to ensure we were not considered a no show. Once we finally made it to the hotel, the person at the front desk informed us they did consider us a no show and cancelled the booking. She said that they don’t have time to read all of the messages they get. She reinstated the booking but was not communicating what was happening and was calculating the costs on paper without a a calculator. It was very frustrating and we were exhausted at 3am with two young kids that we just wanted to get into bed. Other than the terrible check in experience, the room was clean, the hotel had great views of the lake, and was in a good central location for the attractions we had planned to go to."

"Beautiful historic hotel in a prime location on the lakefront and near a zillion tourist attractions. The hotel is very well maintained and the staff was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. I don’t often write reviews but I travel frequently and this hotel really stood out. "
