“It is in a residential area :10 minutes walk from bus terminal and about 15 minutes to the city center. Ask for a taxi transfer if you have heavy luggage or wheeled luggage. The cottage house is among the most beautiful, we have stayed in, with tasteful collections, overlooking a garden with lupines and a far view of lake argentina. Hosts, living close by, are very responsive, helpful and hospitable. We enjoyed our stay and hope to have spent substantial more time . ”

“The staff were kind and helpful. The breakfast was very good. Yummy eggs and toast. And the coffee was perfect. The whole place is very quaint. I sat in the garden and watched birds. Also the bees pollinating all of the beautiful flowers. It’s a mini botanical garden. It’s close to the bus terminal, a 10-15 minute walk (uphill). It wasn’t a bad walk to town for dinner either. ”

“We really liked Alto Verde Hosteria. The room was comfortable and it has a good location. You can walk everywhere easily. We got daily breakfast that was great to start the day before going on our tours, even in early morning hours. Mrs. Lilia was wonderful and super friendly. I would recommend Alto Verde Hosteria. ”

“Staff was very courteous and helped us with luggage since we were on the second floor. The breakfast served in the morning had a decent variety of breads, pastries, cold cuts, deli cheese. the eggs and bacon were cooked to order. Some flaws: the rooms only have heaters not fans and we always run hot despite the cold climate so we slept with window open. The shower head had great pressure but the shower itself had poor insulation and therefore every time we showered the floor became a bit……

“Pros: - Staff are friendly and helpful - Breakfast is great - Fully functional kitchen - Hostel is generally clean and cozy - Close to city centre Cons: - Wifi is only working in common area. Not working at all in the rooms - You need to turn the water on for 5 mins before the hot water comes. We had cold shower on the first day. Shower is quite weak. - There is no trash bin or even plastic bag in the room which is quite inconvenient. You have all basic amenities you need for a……
