“We stayed here for 3 nights and it was incredible. The room was spacious and we got a room overlooking the sea, which was fantastic. It was clean and cozy, and very quiet and peaceful at night.
Rosemary, our front desk host was also lovely. She always had a little chat with us during breakfast each morning.
The villa is right in the middle of Tangalle, and we made a few day trips from there, each around an hour or more away. Even so, it felt really nice coming back to Ziba after a day out……

“Every member of staff that we met from arrival to departure was fantastic.
Very polite, courteous & extremely helpful.
Catered for all our needs.
We booked this place last minute due to having to change our original plan (Kandy & Ella) because of the recent Cyclone.
Although Lagoon Gate can appear a little isolated it is an absolute gem as you are in and amongst nature & right on the Lagoons edge.
It is so easy to get out & about, the staff will order Tuk Tuks or Taxis for you or if you feel……
