Great Getaway Cottage in Gold Beach

The Riley Creek Bungalow was perfect for a short trip to the coast for my sister and me, and our two dogs. The location is close and convenient to the town and beach, but is in a quiet, leafy setting that is relaxing and private. The dogs loved being close to the creek! The bungalow was very attractive, nicely furnished, and included many thoughtful amenities. We loved it and would definitely rent it again!

Comfortable little cottage

Overall, the house was comfortable! The bath and shower curtain situation was a bit obnoxious but manageable. Their is a rooster next door that will wake you up before dawn. We found we could not sleep with the windows open because it sounded like it was right outside the window.

Perfect bungalow

This was a perfect little place to stay in Gold Beach. Two bedrooms, one communal bath, nice kitchen and living room. Very comfortable and a nice view.

What a first glance seemed like a very nice Vrbo, soon revealed its ugly side. Mold/mildew smell in the bathroom, kitchen sink and laundry room—confirmed by the presence of silverfish in the sinks, tub and toilet. The shower was a DYI nightmare! Rigged up with nasty plastic around a freestanding tub with no place to put soap or shampoo. The floor tiles had large spaces , presumably to clean up leaking water. The kitchen surface was wood that was not sealed properly—prompting more signage not to put anything wet on those surfaces.

We loved the location! Spent time traveling South one day to Brookings and the next North to Bandon. Gold Beach being our quiet, comfortable and relaxing home base. What a beautiful bungalow! We loved our time at Riley Creek😃

There were dirty dishes in the dishwasher. No dishwasher soap or laundry soap. The towels and bed linens had soured. We contacted the property manager multiple times. We were told the local team would correct the problems ASAP. We did receive dishwasher soap, however they didn't bother to start the machine. the property appears to be newly remodeled not newly built. The shower is inconvenient to say the least. You can't turn on the water without getting wet/ It is a great location however the management is lacking.

Very comfortable

House was well situated, private, comfortable and aesthetically layed out. Super clean with well appropriated kitchen. Great yard in back and lovely neighbors who brought over eggs. Best dog friendly and reasonably priced accommodations I’ve stayed in.

Charming and quaint

This house was exactly what we were looking for. Close enough to hear the ocean waves yet tucked back into the hillside. Close enough to walk to town. We found this little gem to be perfect. The shower is our only con from the stay. Although the tub is pretty, The shower curtain touches you while showering and shower head isnt adjustable. Other than that, it was great!
